- The Brontës were a nineteenth-century literary family, born in the village of Thornton and later moved to the village of Haworth. Charlotte's Jane Eyre was the first to know success, while Emily's Wuthering Heights, Anne's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and other works were later to be accepted as masterpieces of literature.

Thank you, Aba they put a few seats strategically placed to avoid that. If you go to the Bronte falls from the top Withens route, then you'll know what steep is. I went down crawled back up and then had to dash down again. I left my camera behind :-)
Thank you, MH B B! To the Brontës. More than well worth a visit to Haworth, especially during the quieter times. All the best. Rab 🍻 😎 ❤
Them are the breaks, Alan!
Stay free. Rab 🍻😎 ⏰ 🎲 🌠 💀 🕊
Nice video. That steep hill with the old style shops looked lovely but I'd probably have a heart attack walking back up again 😀
So sorry I got your name wrong my apologies if had been texting some body named Paul . One of the last times we stayed in haworth. We stayed in a room above the apothecary it was lovely. 👍👍beep beep.
Don't worry, I like Paul anyway.... I might have stayed in the same room if it's the one at the front with the big square window and the dining room is at the back where the view is.
I have stayed in the same place, was very nice and a good breakfast.
Sadly all died young, even for the time, but as you say wrote some amazing novels. Very tastefully done, enjoying the series. Haworth is a lovely place to visit all year round 👏🏻😀👍
Emotionally their novels were and still are insightful. They suffered from a lack of knowledge and prejudice. Take a moment to look at it today. we have the knowledge available and we have the problems.
I love Bronties sisters I love Howarth
