As of right now, Verbalase has made a statement and has apologize for his actions, and I think we should all take this as a huge W, and move on from this controversy.

I've been a huge fan of verbalase since joker vs pennywise and it's so heartbreaking to see all of this come out and find out I was supporting a horrible person all this time.

Really well made response, it upsets me that people will watch a video and just assume that oh, because it's about a guy who makes cartoon songs for a younger audience, it isn't as serious as other things. One thing that really annoys me about the situation is the fact the whole Hazbin animation overshadows the allegations of homophobia and transphobia, two things which if they really are just faked screenshots he could easily disprove but no he doesn't touch on it. I wasn't deeply invested in Verbalase, but I did used to like some of his videos. I have watched his Beatbox Battles since 2017 back when it was just Mickey vs Spongebob.
I was like 13 at the time, I grew out of watching him by like 2020 - 2021 tho. So I wasn't very devestated or betrayed, but I can't look him the same tho.
We gotta be careful who we look up to, bc they'll eventually fall to the point where we look down on them. This man is a total weirdo, and is being very scummy indeed.
I said this in a short I made, Verbalase is allowed to make his own choices, but if you say the algorithm is shitting on you but at the same time wasting yo money, that aint a very good case for your argument. taking the middle path is something people should do more often then one side or another the reason why i think this 50k video blew up was that this was leaked (from my knowledge) and that's why verbalase fell if this wasn't shown to the light things wouldn't be as bad well idk about "wouldn't" things could most likely still go bad mostly because of murphy's law ("Anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time.") and I'm sure the 50k video really added more fuel to the fire that was going on but i could be wrong (no hate or anything I'm just stating my thought on the whole thing not saying what he did was good thing or bad thing)

He did break multiple deals and steal assets, but most of the "grooming" clips WERE taken out of context, and he supplied said context in his video. While he should not by any means be messaging a minor, the whole incident started as just a fan reaching out and led to THE FAN starting the whole "relationship" thing.
Even though all of this is a mess verbalase doesn't seem like a bad guy he went to schools and performed for alot of fans I think even if he wanted to respond he's in a bad spot right now and doesn't know how to go about it
Reaction channels thrive off of other peoples content. That's just a fact. You can pause the video as many times as you want and talk as long as you want but at the end of the day you're still reacting to someone elses stuff which can be watched in full via your video. I would know about this since I've literally watched full original videos in reactions and skipping any points that the reactors paused. That right there is the issue people have been talking about for quite a while now. Your videos get watched, they get the views and likes and then they get pushed into the algorithm. The original? If we're lucky, half of the people that watched your vid might check out the original and then half of that might consider subscribing. That's it. And that's STILL after all of the suggestions to go watch the original vid. It's ultimately a loss for the original creator. The only time reaction content would be accepted is if the people had a proper incentive to go to the original vid.
Yeah. But Josiah is different. He brings a different kind of energy and enthusiasm to what he reacts to, and the reason why he pauses so much I so explain the reference to a certain verse or action taking place; and I honestly think it’s pretty fun to learn something knew or have a better understanding, or just feel upright hype from this guy.
