Me too! I panicked a little when I found out I was an ENFP, and that the career advice said that this was a bad combo. The ENFP part explains why I don't like manager roles, but why I enjoy the autonomy and creativity of coding.
Hey Caroline! I'm an ENFP studying to become a software developer right now. Could I get in touch with you so you can tell me more about your experience as a developer?
Don’t ask questions, get very specific. 1. How do you spend your time? 2. What are the three most important things about yiur job? 3. What do you do on a typical weekday from 8-5? What are you actually doing? And then ask yourself, is that how I wanna spend my time? And if it is, investigate more.
As an ENFP teacher, I can say this is true. It depends on the work environment. As an ESL teacher abroad, I loved it because I had almost no paper work and I got to travel at the same time and made my way into a training role with again, no paperwork. Coming back to Canada and teaching is completely different due to the heavy amounts of paperwork. My boss told me I had 'adhd' which I might but really, it was due to the paperwork. I made a decision and got my forest school certification and got into alternative education which has been better because risky play and open ended free play are the new push in early childhood education. ENFP's are great at pushing boundaries and being change makers. If you are an educator enfp, you need to help promote creative and divergent thinking but it is very hard bc education is a conservative industry. Estonia is doing great things. Research it. Good luck!

Am I the only ENFP who thrives on jobs that are repetitive? I look for different ways to tweak methods and I love learning new ways of streamlining methods until I'm able to execute it properly. I worked as a writer and hated it. But when I worked as someone who had to funnel and do quality assessments and checks on websites that wanted to advertise with the company, I had a checklist that I adhered to and when I mastered it, I could do it for the rest of my life (just didnt pay well, sadly) however, any mbti test I take, outcome is ENFP with only the "E" sometimes being "I" but always very intuitive, feeler, perceiving. That's always puzzled me about my jobs and what I like to do so it.ends up becoming trickier to figure out what I could both thrive and succeed in and also be very happy and content with. I hate jobs that require new tasks or require me to come with something new all the time. What kind of ENFP am I? 😫

I am especially thankful of one teacher who even though should have followed the set plan, made a difference by forming connections and broadening our perspectives. He even went as far as writing a students book that later came into use in our school. I'm saying, there are obstacles everywhere and teaching can be extremely rewarding and purposeful. thank you.
Great video but about a completely different subject than I was expecting!! Can you make one about to do lists and how to be more effective, productive and efficient as an ENFP please or direct me if you have made already, thanks
hey Dan, im 19 years old doing a Batchelor's degree in languages & linguistics, which I absolutely love, but im one year in and im already ready to go out into the big wide world. I love writing and I love language and sometimes I think about writing about language, but I never know where to start and often get writer's block whenever I do write. I also think id be a great entrepreneur, because I have lots and lots of ideas and can appeal to people, but again, I don't know where to start. im currently thinking of going into this field of translation called transcreation, which essentially mixes translation and creativity to make sense culturally in the target language and could land a job in marketing. I'm about to send an email to this company in France about doing work experience with them but I need this push to actually do it because im really nervous. im a proper ENFP and just really, really need to get myself into the world, show everyone who I am, and form connections with lots of people
Hey I’m a French 26 years old student and I’m studying translation ^^ I would say go apply to this job in France, you have nothing to lose and if you get accepted it would be a great opportunity !
Charlotte, see my comment above. Many enfp's would love teaching abroad. If you finish your degree, you can teach abroad or do an online language business.
Currently an ENFP computer science student, I love my field were I have the chance to be creative and find solutions, so that's why I am so into competitive programing & problem-solving using programming contests. But I fear the real world so much, I don't know if I can actually still enjoy what I do in real life jobs with all of the paper work and routine. If any ENFP over here is a field mate I will be glade to hear about her/his experience.
Hi I’m studying code as well and I love the feeling of accomplishing a task with code I wrote, and the variety and fun in coding, but I’m seriously struggling with actually learning it. It takes so much time and effort to get just 1% better at it and that makes me feel very discouraged. Also I get discouraged by constant stupid bugs and errors, and when I get stuck and just can’t figure out how to accomplish a task. I know babysteps is also going forward, but I keep thinking it might just not be for me. Did you ever feel that? If you did, do you have tips for me?
If any job title sounds cool, it means you don't know much about it lol that's why it's not a good option to jump into. BEWARE . Also they added the small add emoji option on the laptop in youtube yaayyy!!
lol, I am going for digital marketing. for the creative elements. the jobs are there but they are harder to get. you have to do it on your own time for a while they all want portfolios so build a website and start doing what you want to do.

He even went as far as writing a students book that later came into use in our school. I'm saying, there are obstacles everywhere and teaching can be extremely rewarding and purposeful. thank you.
Thank you for sharing Tekle :)
@@enfp im surprised you read comments on your old videos
Do you think that an INFP can become a police officer? I have a friend who seems like an INFP.
Great video but about a completely different subject than I was expecting!! Can you make one about to do lists and how to be more effective, productive and efficient as an ENFP please or direct me if you have made already, thanks
Hi Suze, try this one :) ruclips.net/video/c9PToGykLvg/видео.html
hey Dan, im 19 years old doing a Batchelor's degree in languages & linguistics, which I absolutely love, but im one year in and im already ready to go out into the big wide world.
Great channel! How to choose your niche/'thought leadership' if you are more of a generalist.. ?
KILLER thumbnail broha
Thanks. My graphics wizard will be pleased to hear that. :)
@@enfp My God! I don´t come here very often but today I did and thank you very much Gordon! I am Dan´s girlfriend btw
There are a lot of ENFPs in computer science in our ENFP Unleashed community, check it out here www.dreamsaroundtheworld.com/enfpunleashed/
This is great advice Dan! Thank you. I will surely checkout the website.
Awesome! Head over to dreamsaroundtheworld.com/enfpcareeradvice and you'll get access to my free training. :)
If any job title sounds cool, it means you don't know much about it lol that's why it's not a good option to jump into. BEWARE
.
Also they added the small add emoji option on the laptop in youtube yaayyy!!
just want to take some time to say how thankful i am to you i appreciate all of your videos thank you so much
You're welcome, and thank you for making my day
@@enfp 🙏🙏🙏😭😭💜💜💜I really am and now am on cloud nine bro glad that this make your day sending love and support as always
lol, I am going for digital marketing. for the creative elements. the jobs are there but they are harder to get. you have to do it on your own time for a while they all want portfolios so build a website and start doing what you want to do.
Do you think pursuing a career in UX/UI Design a good jobs for ENFPs? Or starting a small UX Design company?
Are you liking it????
Right, so . . . no advice on what type of career? Why did I click on this video?
If you are waiting for a person on RUclips to name the specific career you should do, without knowing you, you've already lost :) That's the entire point of the video.
Yes teaching is great! But the bureaucracies suck!
Im enjoying creating videos so far... its just not paying anything yet. 😂
anyone here a flight attendant as a enfp
Thanks, Danster... lol
