Spinning Flax 15th century style

Here I am spinning flax with a distaff and spindle. This was while I was learning different techniques and trying to get a method down for spinning medieval style. This is an old video but it is good to see other people while they are learning.

May I ask what spindle are you using? and no whorl?

This is actually a really old video, I just only switched it to public. I can't remember what spindle I was using, but it did have a whorl- it's just hard to see.
