Drove my friends G37c with these on yesterday and i was not impressed by the light output. Just gonna swap the stock projector lens with STI clear lens to give better output and color for my G37 coupe. I like the GTR style DRL but that light output is not worth it. Glad you like it

I installed the lights with the yellow lines on top and 3 leds - I love these lights. Way better look for the car. absolute must mod. Also the Gen3 Stinten air direct air filter- is too cool.

@@ricardoalcides7184 I did! I took off my front bumper to do it, but it was fairly easy. Just plug and play but you do have to switch over the ballast from oem to these aftermarket ones

You'll have to use original ballast and bulbs

I just put these headlights on my 2011 G37X, im not a fan of the four screws on the light bulb cover. I put small fresh packs in the bulb covers.

the light output looks really odd, like a bunch of rays of light coming out. is that something from the camera or does it really look like that all the time?

Hey bro, I got these exact same headlights but I can't seem to just make the white strip light up without the headlights turning on as well, btw I have a Canadian built G could that be the reason because of the DRL's I really dont know....
Thanks for the video, really considering buying this headlights. My question is can you change the high beam bulb that comes with the lights? I see where the low beam output comes from (the two square shaped projectors) is there a different bulb for the round shaped projector light? Thanks
Yes. There is a separate housing in the back where you can put new high beams in.

Nice look man, quick question though. The light pattern does look a bit strange. I see a projection at the bottom and an upward projection as if the patterns are separated.
Yes, it kind of looks like two separate rectangles on top of each other. It's not that noticeable on the road but you'll see it a lot if you project against a wall like I did in the video.
@@refug337channel7 that's the thing though, it may not be noticeable for you or the driver but it might have glare effects on incoming traffic. I'm thinking of getting these for my brother-in-law. Your video is helpful though to get a perspective on them.
@@hybr1d694 that's a good point. I'll check it by driving behind some of my friends this weekend and see if there's a glare.
Still, you should consider correcting it. I have my retrofit aiming correctly and I still get high beamed because of my Panamera shrouds that are really bright lol.
Ok so I have a question what if your g37 does not have day time running lights. Will the drl on the aftermarket lights work? And if not how do you wire them to work?
Those strips aren't drl. They are the parking lights and come on with the turn signals. You would just have to drive around with your parking lights on all the time.
I have the same issue. I installed it to my 09 g37 and actually had to switch bumper and everything. Now I’m running into the issue where the DLR is not working

I have those and it came without a the D2S low beams in both. Did yours come like that? As well and if so what did you do about it

That's awesome. The headlights definitely give it a new look. And I just took off the grille and plastidipped it when I put in the lights. The bumper was already off so might as well dip it.

With you having the headlights installed for almost a year now how are they holding up? Have you adjusted the projectors in any way? One of them seems to be shooting way higher than it should be.
I haven't done any adjustments. But ill do one year update when all the snow here melts.
how did you get ur high beams to work properly? all of headlights are on at once (High & Low)
How do the actual headlights look? Because in the video they actual night time headlights look like a cheap yellow lighting
Is the bottom part just bulbs? Cuz 1 side of mine the bottom bulbs don’t work anymore so just wondering how to fix it?

Might be a dumb question but just making sure. These GTR style headlights aren’t adaptive are they? As in if you put a turn signal on and turn the steering wheel the lights turn too
Never had that happen. I have to manually turn on the signal for it to work. It's direct plug n play.

@@colewilson164 No these are not adaptive. Infiniti got ride of those for the 2010 model year.
What about the high beams?
They work like normal. You take out the high beam and ballast from original headlamps
What size bulb is the low beam?? before I swap headlights I would like to put led bulbs in them

Yes you can
Do these use the oem bulb or they have their own??
They use oem high beam but new bulbs all the rest

@@JonathanAJohn it no longer uses oem bulbs. I think there's a video on RUclips of someone that put in new bulbs before installing these headlights on his car. He said it helped a lot with light out put

Hey I just hit the front of my 07 g35 sedan and I’m now doing a conversion to a g37 look. The only thing you gotta do is get a g37 front bumper and those headlights would fit.

07-09 have different shaped headlights. If you want these, you will also need a 2010+ front bumper and windshield washer tank.

Are these black lens with smoked lens? Can't decide if I want t he smoked lens or not. How has it held up
These are black housing. The plastic lens on top is actually clear. So far, its had no issues.

Hey! I just got an 2009 g37x sedan and I’m trying to get these lights! But all the ones I find are for 2010-13 would these still work on the 09??
No, these would not work on the '09. You'd have to do a front end conversion.
I got a 2009 g37x as well :( so sad it won’t work

High beams work like normal. They use original high beams bulbs

There's a video on here with another guy that swapped out the bulbs. Might want to ask there.

This is the oem sport model front bumper. You can occasionally find some on sale in FB group pages or eBay.

They came with bulbs in them already. You use oem ballast.

No.. They make ones for sedan just search up gtr headlights g37 sedan.

I didn't have to adjust the headlights on mine. Just plug and play. Although I feel it could be adjusted just a bit higher.
Do the daytime runnin lights stay on?
You can turn them on manually during the day

it only comes with high beams thats it. no ballast no low beams. and the drl is already included

The 09 model sedan has a different bumper and grille. You'd have to get the '10+ year bumper to go with it I believe.

! HELP! I had to purchase a second pair after one of my headlights got damaged (you can't buy just one). I had my mechanic (who installed the first pair) install the new pair (same exact headlights) but now the Daytime Running Lights LED Strip does not light up when I have the headlights on or when I just switch to DRL. BUT, they do light up for turn signals and emergency lights. I just can't get the LED strip to turn on anymore. Has anyone had this issue? Is it a product defect? I've searched online and some have said check the DRL fuse.. The mechanic said he checked it today and all of them were fine. I'm not so sure he checked the right fuse box on my G37.
Only other thing I could think of is if the wiring was done wrong on the part or at the connectors.
Bro I have the same problem I got mine today and I installed it but the daytime running light does not stay on. The signal works but the white line that’s suppose to stay on does not.
Let me know how to fix it please if anyone has this problem and had fixed theirs lmk how please.

what's with that terrible glare above the cutoff line?
I think it has to do with the way the Led strip is positioned.
refuG337 Channel I installed these same headlights made by OEMassive on a co workers g37 and it did not have that terrible glare. That glare isn't coming from the led, but from the poor quality projector bowl and cutoff shield.
Light output on his OEMassive headlights were poor compared to my modified OEM headlights.

Is the stock xenon still used for low and high beam? In the pics it shows the low beams are the 2 small projectors (looks like they’re just leds) near the fender and the high beam is the inner projector, it could be why the light output seems less
It's an entire new head lamp assembly. Only the OEM ballast and high beam bulbs are used.
the main bulb is both your low/high beams right? so you can make the other 3 bulbs red?
The bulbs close to the center is high beam. Two on the side are low. I have seen a guy on Instagram customise these lights and it looks awesome

The grill was plastidipped. I just removed the emblem before spraying.
@@refug337channel7 Did you plastidip the chrome outline around the doors as well? I'm getting a used 30k mile q40 next week, and after seeing the blacked chrome pieces I'm not sure if it looks better. I know many young G owners like to wrap that chrome spoiler piece on the trunk with carbon fiber.

Mine got condensation after a week. But I sealed it back up with silicone and haven't had any issues ever since. Might give that a try.

Are these bright enough?
They're bright enough for me. I drive through a lot of country roads with no lights. Never had a problem. Check out the video and see if this is what you want. Everyone has their own limits. If you really want brightest output possible, oem ones beat this.
