I live here, thanks for the update! But dear Lord Im bummed about all the excess chain restaurants. We need more healthy food options and small local businesses to thrive. Happy about Sprouts coming to town even with delays.
There are to many people already draining the wells and aquifers. All this development would be great in any other area that has infrastructure to bring everyone water. For here, this is horrible.
Ah yes... more development. It's all wonderful until we run out of water. The area is already in trouble and Canyon Lake is at its lowest level in history.
Raad...Wow...This was an awesome update. So many projects in the works that continue to make New Braunfels a great place to live and to visit. The master planned areas are going to be a big hit for sure. We love seeing downtown NB continue to built and renovate and the new mixed use projects downtown look like they will be a great place to visit and enjoy for sure. I think I can speak for many of your fans when I say, "thanks" for all the time and effort you put into your videos! So much information packed into each post every week... Cheers Raad!
@@veritasmanagement18 thank you so much for your support and feedback. We look forward to the Coming To NB videos because there’s something new to learn each time. Appreciate it
Hello Raad, good to see you're doing well and back to keep us well informed. I sincerely appreciate all that you do for us. Wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, take care and Be safe🇨🇱🇺🇲✌🏼👊✝️🫡🙏🏻
The single project that folks I meet want to know about is Costco. And yet it seems to be continually missed in these update videos. Should we give up hope?
Considering the population and draw area in and around NB, a Costco would do great and it really needed (in my opinion) in NB. A drive up to the Costo in Kyle or Selma is a good drive and one never knows what traffic will be like.
Just when I was thinking of moving back to my home state and best friend said NB for the music scene. Organic restaurants - doesn't anybody...? I'm sure it will be an outstanding success, if crowded to the gills in imitation of Austin. Tch. Crossing NB off the list now.
More Tex-Mex restaurants? Really? We need more real German delis, bakeries and restaurants. This is a town with deep German roots which seem to be disappearing every year. It used to be so nice here now it’s just an over done tourist trap. So sad. Who asked for all this? It wasn’t the actual residents of New Braunfels. Just my opinion.
Before Prince Carl Solms got here it was already called COMAL River and Guadalupe River. Doesn’t sound very German to me. Plus when Prince Solms got here, there was no such thing as “Germany” there was Prussia and Bavaria.
@ “preceding colonization” it was fragmented native clans just murdering each other on end. It wasn’t Mexico until colonized by Spain. Colonists built the Americas.
My mortgage is 1350 a month, all this crowding and new business, I can’t wait to rent out my house for $2800-$3300 a month per the market price. Good times ahead and early retirement at the ranch we got down south! 😊
enough Mexican restaurants, how bout more German restaurants, more korean bbq restaurant, jamaican or soul food something we don’t have here idk something other than tex mex. I am tired of eating mexican food everyday.
@joanclaricesantiago3785 YES! I would looove a Guyanese restaurant, or Jamaican restaurant, or Korean.. and I can't believe there isn't a Soul Food restaurant. Yes, I think there is enough burger and pizza joints. People would looove other good food once they had a chance to try it. I feel them on the small town thing, but since there is new stuff, just wish there would be some diversity. Maybe it would show some that different isn't bad.
Just voted in the top 10 places to live in 2025 so I think a lot of people would disagree with you. Go find somewhere else in Texas better than NB I haven’t found anywhere
land and home owners on water restrictions while some greed mongers line pockets with new building permits. you guys gonna turn everything into rental properties and characterless track houses out here too? and here i was thinking we didnt have enough dog parks and places for people with families they cannot afford to rent.
I hate what I am seeing happen to New Braunfels.. There is already a parking issues Just wait.. So crowded now with tourism it makes one almost sick.. We need more Apts. and Homes built to clog the streets even more than what is almost intolerable now..
Our beautiful little town is being absolutely destroyed. Maybe you could elaborate where we are getting the water for all this ?

All we really need is....WATER!
Enough with the apartments and high density housing. The area cannot sustain the future demands for water, infrastructure and city services.

Traffic in New Braunfels is already terrible. What is the plan to help with that?
They don't care about that. Some crooked politician is destroying our town

I think the city of New Braunfels is growing rapidly like San Antonio. It's time for an upgrade. Stop thinking small. Preparing for the future.

Lost & Found is awesome, also Wild Side just opened up downtown NB across from pour house

Maybe Cibolo or Marion is your fit, less around you there, and you're only 15-25 minutes away. So you can still see friends and music.
Any speculation as to which large retailer Veramendi developers are eyeing? Resident here :)
@@BinNB23 staying away from speculation. Density and traffic count are critical to landing a big one or two.

German roots? Lol, you people call this land everything else but what it actually was preceding its colonization, Mexico!
