The aftermarket price of the faceplate for the disc version is so high right now, I wonder if the side with the art of the digital version faceplate fits on the disc console? The side with the disc drive I can just replace with a standard black plate.
One of the better collector's editions currently released. The designs are really cool. I wish they would bring that controller to the U.S. The details on the statue are amazing too. You can see the time and effort they put into it.
Would you say the face plate black is identical to the midnight black sony makes? :) Might just combo a digital plate with a stock black one from sony to save myself $75-100. Let me know!

Agreed! Yes it is a cool statue. Pricey but very nicely detailed. I hope they release the controller outside Japan too!
