Please DO NOT try to top this video. My stress level while you were leaving the glacier was at its limit. 😂. I actually turned my head a little but had to look right back. Super video.
What an awesome video. My hands were sweating when you were climbing that ice wall. So happy you both are having such a wonderful adventure. Safe travels.
Look into Installing a Fumoto Valve to replace the drain plug, this makes draining the oil a breeze making it possible to drain right back into jugs for recycling. Another plus is you can drain with the engine fully warm so you get a cleaner drain. I have had them on all my vehicles since 2001…they are awesome.
Our family loves watching your families “wild” adventures. Our eight year old granddaughter says, “let’s watch the tv couple who wears flip flops like me”. Continue having fun and sharing. ❤❤❤❤
Just think, in the future, your kids can look back on your lives and adventures before they were born. I would love to have had that opportunity. My dad's stories of his youth sounded like a movie. 😊
Thanks for the "shout out" ~ we have followed you from the very beginning!!! It was fun to actually meet you both in Valdez before you left the campground. This has been a great summer for an Alaskan Adventure ~ safe travels heading back east from our Brinkley trailer to yours!!!
The is my favorite channel. I genuinely find joy in following y’all’s adventures. You’re both so wholesome and real and I always find myself smiling as I live vicariously through your travels. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
❤❤❤ love your videos so much. I was holding my breathe when you two where climbing the glacier. 😢😮 We look forward to your videos every Sunday. My husband calls me and says the Kids are on!!!!😂
Watching you guys climb that I ice made me realize it was something I don't think I want to do, LOL, although I would be up for the exploring. I can say my husband did an oil change once... now we take it somewhere. I so appreciate you sharing your adventures with us! I have enjoyed watching you guys and Open Roading explore Alaska and I difinitley want to go at some point!
That glacier trip looked awesome, and awesome job recording it guys. Now I feel guilty for not having my vehicle oil changes done. I hope you guys stay safe and healthy including the pups, always nice to see them being spastic, part of the reason I followed you is the pups. Keep having fun and sharing it please. I do share your videos to X, not sure if it gets you any more views.
Omg! The glacier climbing! At first I thought it just sounded like a great time but then watching you guys do it, it looks like a lot of work! Still looks fun though! Thanks for sharing!
I busted out laughing when you said Madagascar! Just use the short version: Mat-Su Valley or the Valley. Both are short for the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. When you guys go up to Hatcher Pass, take the road to the left, at the top, with your truck first. Most people take their campers in from the Willow side (off the Parks Highway) cuz that's the side with the best boondocking spots, and the road is wide enough to pass each other. On your buddy's last video they insinuated they were going to do the loop in the camper. Drive it first. It's a beautiful drive and you can decide if you want to do the whole loop in your campers or not. Great job ice climbing!
What an excellent adventure. That looked so hard. But fun for you. At 62 a bit to much . Was very beautiful. Glad you finally found some better free camp sites.
Buy your filters from NAPA .....loved the ice climbing👍I can't believe your Alaska journey is winding down 😢. Thank you so much for bringing us along, it's been a pleasure to watch each episode. Prayers for safe travels🙏
Yep, a road trip to Alaska will invariably require some vehicle routine maintenance. We had ours done in Anchorage; hubby's days of climbing under the vehicle have passed. 😊 Thanks for the video!
Next time you are in Florida you can change my oil. Haha. It’s good you were there to help Joseph. His tools would drive me nuts. Enjoy your videos. Jeff and Karen
I remember doing fuel filters on my Ram 2500 CTD...it was no fun. And at the time I had mine, the dealer only charged about $20 more than I could change my oil, so I let them do it. Now, my new Chevy 3500 Dramax maintenance is so much easier. I've done oil and fuel filters and both are a lot easier. Also, great job on the glacier climbing...it looks tough. Thanks for sharing.
I like those locations notifications you've been putting up. That's very helpful. Thanks The Ice Climbing was bitchin' ~ seems like you got your exercise for the day.
Great Adventure! I have really been enjoying watching your Alaska expedition. Been following both you and your traveling Companions and I have been amazed at all of your fun activities. Nice job with all the video your shooting and editing. I know how much time and effort it takes to get these videos done and uploaded. You’re really doing a great job at story telling and being real. I am finding it cool seeing both channels and how you each have your own tales and look at the adventure.Keep it up! Look forward to your next video!
a big secret fro your air cleaner, always place a queen size pantyhose over the air cleaner, reason is those bus you see there on the cleaner wont hit the filter and you can use it again to get the full use out of the air cleaner, the other thing is invest in a K&N wash and reuse air cleaner, good for over 1 million miles, and the cleaning is safe and reuse the filter, but i still use the pantyhose over the washable filter ! for the fuel filter i use RAY_CORE fuel filter system , its the filter you see on big rigs, . install is right out of the tank and its good for 10,000 miles a little filter and O ring for the top,. the raycore filter has a pedcock on the botom to bleed the water contains in the fuel too.
Thx for an informative and well professional video Ice been rving for over 30 yrs and have AK on my bucket list with rv asI have flown in and went on USS Anchorage LSD 36 in '74 charting the coast post '64 earthquake with USGS and NOAHA. My experience with E-trailer weren't as rewarding as yours. Happy Camping
Good on you for doing your own maintenance. I always do my own too but in Anchorage in July I thought I'd just take it in for once rather than do it myself (even though I brought everything with). What a mistake! I failed to ask first what it would cost. I assumed it would be maybe $400. I've never checked into it before. The dealership did air filters, fuel filters, oil, and tire rotation (F350 6.7L diesel)...$830!!!! Never again!
Awesome video, I would have stayed behind with the dogs! Maintenance is essential to keeping the truck in good running condition, just be happy you can do it yourself saving a bunch of money! Food looked delicious even though it was left over. Be safe on the road.
We love your channel. So much so that you have inspired us to take our fifth wheel to Alaska next year. We were going to go this year but i became fearful that working while traveling would be to difficult. I would love a video on how you make remote work a reality while traveling in Alaska. I work remote - not a traditional 9-5 remote but do have meetings scheduled throughout the week and have many projects that i contribute to - (
I went ice climbing once in 2015. The unit had a soldier morale thing going on. I was beyond muscle fatigue after the climb. I remember my toes hurting the most.
Carry my own oil change pan, etc. Changed my oil in the KMart parking lot in Fairbanks since most campgrounds don't allow it. Brother-in-law traveling with us had KMart do his and when we got back to campground oil was pretty black still. Also, they tried to check differential fluid level and rounded off the plug so couldn't do it. That's why I do it myself so good for you Craig!
As always, great video! I have a ram 3500 as well - I get all of my filters from Geno’s garage online. They have a great package for your oil, fuel, and air filter. They also have an oil drain valve that makes it very easy to drain your oil. You can either open the valve and drain right to your oil pan or connect a tube and into an oil pan, which makes it a lot cleaner. To mitigate the difficulty of putting the oil filter back on I used my DJI Osmo’s action camera to help me guide the filter back onto the threads, it made it so much easier! Just some suggestions. Otherwise thanks. I learn a lot from both of you guys in your travels and maintenance.
Awesome video! Makes me want to try climbing. Craig! Next time loosen the rear fuel filter, then put a gallon ziplock freezer bag under/around it. You won’t spill a drop!
Glad you found a better boondocking spot when you left the one with the gun fire. My border collie would not enjoy that at all. Unfortunately, my sweet dog has separation anxiety and I’ve never left him alone in my RV. Weird thing is, he has a cloth crate in my car and he’s total comfortable being left in that for a couple hours but eats everything in his crate at home if left in it and eats the sofa if left out of it, so not risking the RV!! That rock climbing was pretty exciting. And the Glacier was so beautiful. Thank you for taking us along. Can’t wait for next Sunday!
Doc's filters have been known to cause all kinds of problems with Ram HD trucks. The air filters have glue strips that are well documented to cause CEL and frequent regeneration issues. I always order my filters from Geno's Garage. I also use Valvoline Premium Blue Extreme 5W-40.
Looks like a lot of fun. I repelled in training, and can still do that part. I am afraid the hike in, and heavy stress of climbing would do me in. Walking between the door and the car carrying groceries, 15ft back and forth is a major chore, that consist of aspirin for pain.
Hi guys, one of your most exciting videos. I was a nervous wreck watching you guys climb that ice mountains. really cool!!! Thank you so much for sharing. we have press passes for the Hershey RV show, wish you guys were there too.. lots of love guys stay safe!!
I wish we could have made it to Hershey too! Just couldn't work it out to get across the country quite fast enough. Thanks for joining us this week and have a blast at the show!
WOW! That was so great to watch, so amazing! I have added to our "bucket list"....Love the positive attitude and vibes! You guys be safe and thank you again for posting this epic adventure!
I couldn't believe how fast the glacier changes. He had just taken that route out a few days earlier and then an entire mulan opened up and blocked the path!
The climb looked really fun! I am not a fan of doing the maintenance work either, but as a maintenance manager, I just can't pay someone else to do it!
Hi Guys. I also would have thought the ice would be an easy climb, I guess not🥴but worth the try. Very cool looking spot. Enjoy your time in Alaska. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
lol we definitely got put in our place with how "easy" we thought it would be. The first couple climbs had us feeling like professionals but that last route was a tough one!
I like valvomax for my oil drains pans (engine and transmission) also idk if you guys herd of Sumosprings for your camper. I installed mine before the Denali Highway from Cantwell to paxson. The sumo’s gave mine a more stable ride in any terrain.

Keep the end of episode Scripture coming! Today’s is a really important one I hope everyone reads. Thanks! 🙏🇺🇸
It is an important one! Hard to live by 100% of the time, but we're always striving to be an encouragement to those around us
Love it ❤@@wildrvlife

What an awesome video. My hands were sweating when you were climbing that ice wall. So happy you both are having such a wonderful adventure. Safe travels.
Incredible ice climbing adventure. Not something I’ll ever be able to do. Thanks for sharing its beauty with us!
You make me a bit envious of all your adventures. But as I'M 82 years young I don't think I could keep up. Enjoy what you can when you can.
Absolutely love how likable and personable you guys are on your videos
Ice climbing looks so fun!! My husband and I are friends with Joseph and Kalyn so it’s fun to watch your journey together! 😊

That’s it… we’re turning around and going back to do some ice climbing! 😂
hahah it really did end up being our favorite excursion
Matanuska. Madagascar. Eh, close enough.
Craig, you make me laugh!😂
I mean, there are a lot of the same letters lol
Your videos are great. You two compliment each other with your back to back banter. Keep it up!
Thanks for the "shout out" ~ we have followed you from the very beginning!!! It was fun to actually meet you both in Valdez before you left the campground. This has been a great summer for an Alaskan Adventure ~ safe travels heading back east from our Brinkley trailer to yours!!!
The ice climbing was EPIC!!!!
Glad you had a 5-star day for the glacier excursion.

Nice video - both the climbing & reality of maintenance. 👍🐾
Thanks! Glad you liked it! Climbing's fun, but keeping everything in shape is a whole other adventure, right?
❤❤❤ love your videos so much. I was holding my breathe when you two where climbing the glacier. 😢😮
We look forward to your videos every Sunday. My husband calls me and says the Kids are on!!!!😂
Thank you so much!! ❤ The climbing was actually a lot more adventurous than I thought. i couldn't believe we got to step over those crevasses!
That ice climbing was crazy! Never expected it would be that intense. Thanks for sharing the experience!
Looks like so much fun climbing the ice!
The glacier climb was sooo awesome! We saw glaciers while there but nothing like that!! Wow! Thanks for taking us along!
It was like a whole different world once we really got back there in/on the glacier!
Loved the ice climbing segment! :)

Loved the ice climbing! Your best adventure yet!
We agree!!
That ice climbing looked like good fun, and the blue stripes in the ice were amazing! Thanks for sharing, and safe travels.

Thanks for Sharing you both killed it on the ice climb Thanks to Craig for the action shots, I'm kidding lol.
What an adventure. I really enjoyed the Plane Show a couple weeks ago and the SUN was out. Beautiful!
Love your videos and both of your beautiful kind personalities. When I seen those cracks in that ice. I was like oh heck noooo!
Ice climb was awesome!
AWESOME video ...thanks for the trinket you sent! You are both SUPER! love following your adventures That ice climbing was incredible!!

The K&N Air, cabin and oil filters is great, u can reuse it and clean it and also save mpg and more HP 👍⭐
I like those locations notifications you've been putting up. That's very helpful. Thanks The Ice Climbing was bitchin' ~ seems like you got your exercise for the day.
We definitely got our exercise in! It was a fun challenge. and glad the notes are helpful!
Just found you guys last week. Started at a month ago, and watched to today. Wow, really enjoyed it. Blessings on your journey.

That glacier was beautiful. 😊

I have been binging yall the last couple months ... great content!
thank you so much, what a compliment!
Retired usaf, just a tip. Soak clothes in a bucket with vinegar and water to get diesel or jet fuel out.
Enjoying another excellent down to earth video my thank you to your learning experiences 😊
Perfect Scripture for this week Thanks
Glacier was awesome ! Just ordered the filter tool 😁. Another great video !

You two are a hoot. Great videos.
You guys are so much fun to watch, I didn't even mind watching the maintenance work. Lol😊👍
haha thank you for coming along this week!
Great video!
You guys are amazing.
Looking forward to what’s next.
About 10 miles east of delta junction is delta meats, check out their Reindeer sausage or elk

Here is a tip for changing your oil filter, punch a hole in the bottom of it before you loosen it to drain it makes it less messy

ohh good to know! thank you for the suggestions, we'll have to check out Geno's garage for next time
Looks like fun guys!
Nice haircut Craig !
thanks!
We also spent a night where you changed your filters.
One of our favorite spot we ended up finding!

If you get to Southern California from Oct-March, hit me up. We can go paragliding, fishing and more!✌️
Looks like a lot of fun climbing the glacier. I figured it would have been more difficult with all the melting occurring.
It was definitely a challenge!
ice climbing looks fun. The best oil and fuel filters are Fleet guard, best filtration and longer lasting
NAPA Filters are superior
E Trailer is the best if u own an RV
Hi guys, one of your most exciting videos. I was a nervous wreck watching you guys climb that ice mountains. really cool!!! Thank you so much for sharing. we have press passes for the Hershey RV show, wish you guys were there too.. lots of love guys stay safe!!
I wish we could have made it to Hershey too! Just couldn't work it out to get across the country quite fast enough. Thanks for joining us this week and have a blast at the show!
Wow that fuel filter looks like a pain to change. Love your channel and all the Alaska videos.
This was a great adventure!! I love the color of the ice! Thanks for taking us along!!
The blue in the ice was unbelievable. And the ice slot canyon?? It was really amazing
That was absolutely epic!!!! I really wanna go to Alaska so bad.
The ice climbing was our favorite excursion!
Great Video this week!!! Craig, should have done a cold Plunge for the Team Wild RV Life 🤣
Now that would have made the video more exciting to watch 😆
WOW! That was so great to watch, so amazing! I have added to our "bucket list"....Love the positive attitude and vibes! You guys be safe and thank you again for posting this epic adventure!
Definitely a bucket list item, it was our favorite excursion we did in Alaska! Thank you for coming along for it!
Lovin it! Always along! Very inspiring!
Great video! I was a little nervous when you guys were leaving the glacier and the guide had a to find another route. What a fun adventure.
I couldn't believe how fast the glacier changes. He had just taken that route out a few days earlier and then an entire mulan opened up and blocked the path!
What a fun adventure!! I would have moved away from the gun fire for my pup also. Contined safe travels!!
And we ended up at what turned out to be one of our favorite free camping spots, so it definitely all worked out!
The climb looked really fun! I am not a fan of doing the maintenance work either, but as a maintenance manager, I just can't pay someone else to do it!
Hope you had as much fun as we did on the glacier. We are camping in Banff and don’t have enough service to watch it.
I am never going to Alaska. Glad your showing me all that stuff
Hi Guys. I also would have thought the ice would be an easy climb, I guess not🥴but worth the try. Very cool looking spot. Enjoy your time in Alaska. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦

Thanks so much! and so glad you enjoy the videos!
I like valvomax for my oil drains pans (engine and transmission) also idk if you guys herd of Sumosprings for your camper. I installed mine before the Denali Highway from Cantwell to paxson. The sumo’s gave mine a more stable ride in any terrain.
Love the video! Keep em coming and the scriptures. What are the camp chairs you all use?
Thank you! They are the MacSports club chairs from Camping World! www.campingworld.com/macsports-club-chair---camping-world-exclusive-623443.html
Impressive ice climbing! Great video.
thanks for coming along!
Once again, it's a great video! That looked like a really tough climb out.😮. Stay safe.
thanks so much for watching!
Nice
thanks for watching!
Bit of video feedback for you. Be careful with the background music. It is a little over powering your voices. In this video it was especially like that as you were leaving the glacier. It’s possible that RUclips is messing with your audio mix. But maybe or you can compensate for that.
