Rosemary Harris was the best Aunt May in my opinion. She was strong, inspiring, iron-willed and she never gave up, just like her boy. She had the best speeches and it really made you understand what it felt like to be the mother of Spider-Man. Sally Field was definitely #2 for me, she was grounded, intelligent and her scenes packed so much emotion. She wasn't shown as an idol, but a human. Her interactions with Andrew's Peter felt so real and heartbreaking. I honestly couldn't give two shits about Marisa Tomei's Aunt May. She barely had any scenes that made her actually feel like Aunt May. They tried fixing her character in NWH (they did a pretty awesome job) but I wish she had more scenes like that in her earlier movies. I remember in Far From Home she asks Peter where his suitcase is and she doesn't give two shits upon realizing that it got blown up even though she knew it belonged to Ben Parker. Her May feels really shallow when compared to the other two.
I can't decide if I like Raimi or tasm aunt may more they're both amazing. Also you just reminded me of that uncle Ben suitcase scene. Man, they did him dirty...
