- Yes my video is back! Sadly because of copyright I had to change the music with one of youtubes own- not my original soundtrack. The vid is a parallel landing at San Francisco, taken inside the plane. Take off from Los Angeles, from home footage

Flying is epic. I will be headed out for my 3rd trip of the year, with flights 5,6,7 on the year. These are some of the perks of starting a business, no less at 17.

well i am flying 10 times in a yeah about ´9 years and i have never seen an paarllel landing u can be proud to have seen something like this
Looks like the Aproach speed of the other plane was slightly faster on final. Excellent video. I really enjoyed!

some airports have 3 runways , i think atlanta hartsfield has just built one ,the thing about most of the new dual runways is that they have much more space between them usually they put the gates and terminals in the middle and have the parallel runways on either side giving the planes the chance to get to the gates from which ever side they are on its much faster.sfo airport was one of the first its pretty old. take a look at hartsfield airport its very well laid out.

sorry for those who don't like the music but it was that or the sound of air con and air stewards serving drinks in the background (which was there previous to the music!)
I love the music and yes the US Airways a/c is an A321 and the a/c this author is on is either a 737-300, 400 or 500.

The aircraft that chrispyduck24 is flying in is a 737 second gen (300/400/500)... and the airplane landing next to them is an A321

Sorry to all who want this artist and track but I cannot help you :-( I was given a choice of many songs and I chose the song that best suited the video (although original was better!). I cannot remember anything about artist or track name. Sorry!

The plane was really empty and I had several seats to choose from during the journey. My 'proper' seat was on the left but I moved about and ended up on the right when seeing the other plane coming into land

Very neat. There are several of these parrallel takeoff/landing vids for SFO. Curious how many runways they have? Is it just the two and they do double takeoffs then switch to double landings?

I did that approach back in June but it was for runway 28R

Yeah there were flaps, maybe about 5degrees but still flaps.

i think the aircraft was an airbus 320 or 321 ...and the airline was US AIRWAYS
US Airways does not operate any flights between LAX and SFO.
