Thanks!! Do you know if Alpinestars offer something comparable that you have? I’ve been riding for over 20 years, multiple Honda CBR 600s, but just bought a 2024 Ninja ZX10R that I’m working on getting back into track weekends. I’ve had Alpinestars gear for a long time cause I trust it (from a low side slide).

Just as another reference for other buyers. I have this jacket in a size 52 and it fits me perfectly. It’s a race fit though bc that’s what I prefer. I’m 5’8.5 and 190lbs. Athletic build. I also have the pants in a size 52 they are tight but I believe that’s just the nature of leather pants. I need to break them in how I did my suit. Other than that it’s the best bang for your buck two piece suit for spirited riding.

I've tried on the new astars leather jackets, honestly my $270 RST Sabre is more comfortable and it's airbag compatible
I'm an astars loyalist and I got rst stuff last year. Don't sleep on their boots they are amazing!!

unrelated to this video but after trying on a bunch of different helmets for my next upgrade (from a cheap sedici helmet) im sold on either the rf1400 or the exo r1 air carbon. i know you are a big shoei fan but any thoughts or pros/cons for one over the other? i like the weight (and cost especially since it comes with a tinted shield, which is a must buy for me) of the r1 air but the rf1400 felt a bit "nicer" on the head. its a toss up for me still
The overall quality of the Shoei is a little higher. Is is light years better, no it is not to be fair. I have ridden in both and like them both. If you are inclined to save some money the Scorpion EXO-R1 Air is an excellent helmet. - Van
I'm a fair weather summer rider so I would have to go for the mesh version. Unfortunately most sizes are out of stock so apparently a lot of people agree. I really dig the leather/mesh combo. Any chance of a review for that one?

In your opinion how is this jacket in hot water like Vegas??
I’d say it’s only good for 70 degrees or less. Get the mesh leather version for warmer temperatures
