Stylist and locticians are charging $250 for starter locs which is a complete rip off because they know a ton of people are getting loc’d. I typically just use water and tea tree oil on my loc retwist but I may try the sulfur 8 gel. I don’t use anything so I don’t have to worry about buildup. I wash weekly 3 times .You and your daughter locs are beautiful 😍 Your daughter is too adorable!

Beautiful locs, beautiful daughter. Whenever I wash, I always dilute the shampoo in a bottle to prevent build up and easy rinses☺️ I'm more tender headed now as well so stying are kept at minimum.

If you don’t want to cut your hair you can get log knots into a bob 😊. Btw I loc’d my hair July 2018 after watching your journey. We have similar features so I knew I’d love it. 😊
I remember watching your loc install video about a week or so after it had been posted (as I was thinking about locking my hair). About a week later I started locs, then restarted, brushed them out after a year coz i didn’t like how small they were. Now I look at your locs and see what could have been by now if I’d just stuck with it.
I have over 660 sister sisterlock's. My hair is really thick and hangs past my bra in the back. It also holds water and shampoo! Lol. So I dilute my shampoo in a spray bottle and then I spray it onto my locks. Keeps me from drowning myself in the shower. 🤣

She reminds me of my daughter who is not on RUclips, but makes videos on my phone as if she is. Soo cute. Her hair is beautiful too. My hair is about as long as you describe. I don't do styles. Braid outs. Twist outs. Maybe barrel rolls.
