    Is the light in the backyard mounted under the eave or wall mounted? I need them to be eave mounted.

      Hi Jeff, the light is mounted on the wall, but I don't see why it couldn't be mounted under an eve, the portion of the fixture where the bulb are is adjustable.

    It's funny to me how people go on RUclips to review a product while having no idea what they're talking about. I wonder if 7 years later you finally read the manual.

    I wanted this model until I spoke to an RAB tech today and he said LED bulbs can cause interference with the motion sensor, He recommended using a halogen bulb. Uh, Nope!
    Hope you still like yours.

      Can you please upload a video of The Lights working at Night

      +Jumbo Incredible Hi, thanks for the suggestion, we will work on that.

      I prefer bulbs in the 5000-6500k color temperature range because of the blue white color which I prefer over the yellow white 3000k LEDs. Sure they will work with this. The main thing to look out for when purchasing an LED bulb for this fixture is that the bulb is designed for outdoor use in an enclosed fixture.

    I heard a rumor the RAB kit - the motion sensor may break over time due to using LED Bulbs? Any one else heard that rumor?

      @VigilPrudence  7 лет назад +1

      +mike ennis Hi Mike, thanks so much for watching taking the time to comment 😀. I have not read anything about that. Actually, all I have read actually recommends the LEDs. I can say I have had my LEDs for a while now with no issues. 👍

      They use mechanical relays. Absolutely the best switching for LEDs bar none

      Led lamps are responsible for burning out photocells that are not rated for leds. I’ve been told that the inrush current for a fraction of a second is possibly 600 times the normal operating current and unless your photocell is rated for led you will likely burn out your photocell. RAB lighting will also tell you not to install led lamps in the stl360 motion detector (which also has a photocell built into it)

      Hi John, thanks for your input. I guess I have been very lucky because I have been using LEDs in this lamps for a couple of years now and have had zero issues. 🙂
