The comedy stylings of the hoffman family ‘gold miners’ --- solid gold humor! Stepping over dollars to pick up dimes…..
Agree - the Laurel and Hardy of gold mining.
When I saw the name "Hoffman" in the title, I didn't even bother watching the video. I knew I had to head straight for the comments. From Todd not being able to mine his way out of a wet paper bag to Old Man Jack pocketing half the cleanup, they did not disappoint.
With Jack in charge of the weigh ins ,the numbers of gold they bring in will mysteriously be depleted. He's about as trust worthy as a carnival worker .
yep here we go again, the less they show, means they give none to the claim owner, and peanuts to the workers.
I'd trust a carnival worker before I trusted Jack Hoffman lol.
Ahahahh true as f
"we took a break from gold minig" pretty clever way to say we ran out of money to go mining
Let parker do that ground..at least it'll be done right
Time for the Hoffman’s to give it “everything they got” and fail FRICKING spectacularly…. Lmao
Just about to write the same thing.
That's hilarious. He has accomplished far more than you ever will. He also took this dilapidated mine and brought it back from bankruptcy. Where did he fail? When have you ever had millions resting on your shoulders? The Hoffman's have forgotten more about mining than you've even read about in book lol.
@@alanbarnett3394 sorry Todd Hoffman !!! I frickin’ didn’t mean to offend you ;) I frigged up ,okay ?
You should try it most do fail your lucky if 1% make money
That’s it. I’m done watching on TV now How’s the dude takes two or three days to run and connect a 3 wire cable. Not even that Then he thinks he invented soldering Lol. Frocking joke
Jack's beard has been getting the best cleanouts after the clean up
Rest assured, Todd will find a way to go broke mining any ground he gets.
That’s not true do you remember Indian river , quartz creek and McKinnon creek they mined over 5,000 ounces in 4 seasons if they get a good plant they will kill it
@@donnieschaer1704 that is far from “killing it”. Regardless, he still found a way to go broke, last I checked.
Todd is the guy that talks you into some “great adventure”, only to have you realize once you’re miles from home that he has absolutely no clue what he’s doing, and he only brought you along because he thought you knew what you were doing. Now you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of guys that all thought somebody knew what was going on, and at some point everyone realizes they have no clue what’s going on, so they start calling people hoping they can help them figure out what’s going on.
That is literally every season Todd has spent mining, ever.
He always finds a way to go broke, regardless of any gold he finds. He always screws up anything good he gets going. That’s why he is struggling to run someone’s old broken down mine, while Parker is doing weekly cleanups bigger than what Todd has mined all year.
Don’t count on Todd. He lets down everyone that works for him on a regular basis. You can do better.
Lmao
@@KennyEaton603, sadly for Todd, you hit the nail on the head. Dude has a big heart, but is a terrible gold miner.
Not the chicken nugget mine
The most gold-laden soil this guy ever found is when he accidentally stepped in a poop that Tony pinched off behind some tree!
That 1 pan is more gold than Todd has found in his whole career.
The Hoffmans find the richest ground in the show's history - stay tuned to see how little they pull out
The Hoffmans defined the phrase disaster movie
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I highly doubt that the ground is that rich, besides u cant assume after a few buckets of material that its going to pay like that. The next step i would take before running a single yard is to review any old drill reports and if there isnt enough info from old reports then i would drill it myself. 70 ounces a hundred? Why did the old timers leave it? I would guess that its only rich like that in a few spots and the rest is average otherwise the current owners would mine it themselves, nobody would give up rich ground like that, nobody.
@@s.d.iprospecting4359 the current owners probably have no connection to mining, and just see valuable land that people are willing to gamble big bucks on. They probably just want their 100% guaranteed paycheck for selling the land, effort of finding gold be damned.
Jack .. “by this time next year we’ll all be millionaires!” 🤣
"We're all millionaires, we just have to dig it up"
Ya howd that work out for them
Hunter who has never been to a gold mine before and sat on Jack's couch all season long knew exactly where to drive, and it took only one shovel full to find "The richest ground in Gold Rush history."
The ground was spiked because, without that, there would be no reason to bring the world's laziest and worst gold miners back.
“On this season of Gold Rush, the Hoffman crew find a once in a lifetime plot, tune in Tuesdays at 8 to see how they still managed to fuck everything up”
you cant make this stuff up, sorry did I say stuff up
Sounds just like Biden he also fucks everything up
Taking a sample from a pile of gravel near an old site is not prospecting
You could dump a pile of gold in front of Todd and he'd invent a way to lose half of it.
Todd and his father are the biggest jokes in the history of reality TV!
And now with the son they're the 3 stooges
"Todd we found an entire lump of gold its worth millions!"
"So yeah somehow we managed to lose the massive ball of gold that was sat there, so we decided to leave all or vehicles in idle while we prayed for 16 hours, and no all the fuel is gone and we are all going to die here"
Every...Single....time these people touch anything they fuck it up.
As parker once said Todd Hoffman couldn't find gold in a jewelry store.
ROTFLOL
"I don't like the way this is smoking"
Walks away from it while it's still running
Also isn’t it funny how The Hoffmanns use to make fun of Parker…look at him now and look at the Hoffmanns
I remember the 14 year old Parker laughing at Todd because he was selling him firewood at triple the price. Todd was too lazy to chop firewood in the middle of a forest. That was the same season when Parker said "you don't run your fingers through fine gold because it will stick to your fingers and you will lose it". Parker at 14 was smarter than Todd is now.
Tod had the chance to talk to kings like Parker and chose the stubborn way .so his path is his own
That ground could be 500 ounces per yard and Todd would still find a way to screw it up.
Old Jack should know about that claim, he was the clean up guy for the old timers there 1908. Got caught skimming gold off the top and run out of town in 1909! Didn’t have time to take his gold he had buried just near the old rocker box.
Well ya Hoffman would definitely steal someone else’s fortune
@@OdinMan64 based on what lol.
@@alanbarnett3394 based on the Nome Daily Nugget newspaper. Do some research, like I did.
@@lukeskywalker3200 you made the accusations. It's not my responsibility to prove your case for you lmao. Let's hear it.
Yep good ol 120+ year old Jack Hoffman..
Todd would find more gold mining in Parkers couch cushions
When they finally get to the rich ground, they will sleep in until lunch, work an hour, break early for dinner, and then sit around a fire all night drinking cheap bear and bragging how rich they are going to be...
im just curious ,, has anyone ever seen Todd actually working at gold mining ?
Workin on a fittin a burger in his mouth, that’s about it.
The guy waddles he’s so big, take him half a shift to climb in an excavator.
It may sound insensitive, but it’s the truth. Guy has packed on some pounds.
Just driving equipment.
That gold that Todd found fell outta Jack's top pocket, when he leaned forward..
Jacks a son of a bitch.. crooked ol bastard lol
They couldn't find gold if it was sitting right in front of them
certainly would not make the mission impossible team
Know what show we need ...Todd and his crew going to oak island 😂
I wish i had the opportunity that the hoffmans have squandered over the years! The kid says it is not worth it to come back unless its legendary ground? Give me a break! Anybody can mine "legendary ground" Being a miner means you take good years with the bad and have no excuses,if u fail then u change your ways and learn from your mistakes! The hoffmans had great ground over the years , they had great equipment and great crews,so why did they fail so often? They do not know how to move dirt or k ow how to prospect new ground, they are not vested in mining for the long haul IMO.
They need a write off! Look at all the new stuff everywhere. Take a loss. They fly everywhere, their families all have nice vehicles and I'd actually like to see their houses. They are not doing bad. His kid supposedly respects what the old timers went through... Well then why would he run that Nodwell in that shape? AND KEEP RUNNING IT!!! If they were pressed for money, they would treasure that piece of equipment... not run it into the ground for a couple buckets of dirt that he could have gotten with a 4 wheeler. Less gas, less drama and more common sense. That would make for bad TV ratings 🙄
@@edpoints1127 Exactly, every year the hoffmans beat there equipment into the ground. I get that it is a tv show and they need drama, but it does not depict how mining and prospecting is done. It actually fasle represents mining and prospecting, when they left mining and one day decided to get back into it? Not many miners get that opportunity to get a 2nd chance let alone a 3rd or 4th chance like these guys have had. Clearly we know who is in charge of the purse strings, lol if i sound jealous then guilty as charged,Hunter has no idea the opportunity that is right in front of him or the past opportunity he and the rest of them have taken for granted. I would love to have just a fraction of what these guys have had for opportunities.
All that money getting the machine, breaking it, diesel to get there & back for 2 buckets of staged gravels 😆
..These past few days watching my portfolio decline is very disheartening. Holding doesn't really profít much. Any idea on how to earn better on the short run?

How do I reach to her??..
It must just be for the program because no one could possibly learn so little from their mistakes and not improve in any way shape or form.
you have to wonder , I dont watch white water anymore, they all run around yippy yay when they make 20k for the season, I had a paving guy doing some work for me, who was building a little gold plant , and he says Aussie Gold Hunters give them 50k for the season, I sell mining equipment, worlds biggest gear, we call these operations rats and mice
These guys are the laughing stock of gold mining. As Parker said once, “Todd couldn’t find gold in a jewelry store.” 😂😂😂
"The fact is that we are all millionaires. All we have to do is sit on the couch, drink beer, eat Cheetos, collect Discovery royalty checks and laugh at a bunch of hard-working green horns sluice for gold in the ground that we know has no gold in it."
---Todd "Cartman" Hoffman

wow cool thanks for sharing
This boy must be blessed. To say it’s not worth his time unless it’s legendary gold.
Good to be blessed when those are your demand’s.
That rocker box looks and works just like the cube we use today. WOW
I love watching this
Now they know what gold looks like 😂😂😂😂😂
Pure comedy 🤣
Smells like a set up pan Just sayin.
Hey that old rock box looks like your dad’s first gear. Haha.
How much of parkers gold did they sprinkle there for the Hoffmanns to chase lol
He's standing in a quonset hut designed in the 40"s...1940's. That mining is within the last 80 years.
Thanks.
I always thought Todd wasn't very intelligent until someone said that he skipped 8th grade ,but it turns out it was because it wasn't right for him and his Dad to be in the same class!!
Wayyyy back when I watched gold rush - they were happy about 10 bucks a yard. Ounce a yard is a whole different level
Dude, how cool. I would immediately suspect that quanson hut to be made of asbestos until proven otherwise.
Todd will figure out a way to mess it up.
How many different ways will Todd find to screw this up!?
Looks like Todd is still on the marching powder
Can't be. He spends most of his time sleeping and eating.
This mob couldn't find gold in a gold rich gold mine 😅
That pile was probably pay dirt the old timmers dug in the winter and never ran
If only the old timers would’ve panned for gold on the surface right next to their big metal shed! Those 300 people really missed out!
Every piece of ground Todd has ever had is supposedly the richest ground in Gold Rush History .
I thought it was about time the Hoffman's got a break, then I looked at the comments lol. Been watching his show since season one when they were totally bumbling around not knowing anything.
They are still bumbling around knowing nothing.
Todd a lazy con man,I wouldn't trust him any farther then I could throw him.
Jack probably has 2000 ounces hidden somewhere lol
If it’s an ounce a yard the Hoffman’s should extract maybe 4/5 grams per ounce
On the richest ground in history and still couldn't find gold 🤣
Score! My last name is Hoffman, that's awesome!
*title of video* ...... and still manages to fuck it up 🤣
4:00 that's why you do pre-ops and check every piece of equipment before you get on it
If it wasn't for Todd Hoffman there would be no Gold rush, Parker or Tony Beets. Todd is the one who proposed the idea of Gold Rush. He's been involved with the show since the very beginning.
And show payments keep him financially fluid , not gold mining he hasn't a clue
You are correct about Todd's idea for Gold Rush. But, he has had no influence or involvement with Tony or Parker, they were already successful gold miners before the show ever started.
Where is this? Discovery UK but American flags everywhere
I like how Hunter knows and respects what the old timers went through to make a living back in the day. Not many young people would care. You can definitely tell that he knows his stuff.

That happens when you've been mining since you were 7. Parker started the same way and look at him lol
Just by listening to this kid talk, it sound like he had someone telling him all about how they did it back in the day and then he just summed it up in his words
@@christopherbrandt1895 well that's the best way to learn is to listen and absorb the information being given. Lol. He's a smart kid with a bright future I'm whatever he decides to do really.
@@alanbarnett3394 well old man Hoffman claims he has been mining for 50 years. He should be the one with all the knowledge. Lol
Todd will find a way to screw it all up as always
I've got a lot of respect for miners. It's a dangerous job and doesn't always pay. It's how you bounce back. I hope the Hoffman's do well, l enjoy watching them
The Hoffmans are not gold Miners . Pretend scripted Reality Minors
Hunter Hoffman a gold minor. What a joke .
Great news
Makes me want to save up my cash to buy a 1oz gold buffalo.
They should've learned from Tony Beets and Parker - drill test holes and know what is down there. Even the Flour Gold Wizards says "Test, Test, Test". No more Yukon Cornelius style searching.
The biggest plot twist in history.
And they will still somehow fail😂
Todd and his crew couldn’t find gold if they had the keys and a free week to explore Fort Knox.
Yeah seen this episode a while back, I’m like everyone and over all these replays…
About time the Hoffmans made it big! That youngster has ALWAYS impressed me with his work ethic, realistic mindset & loyalty to his gramps & father. Great things even bigger than Parker are in store for that young man if he doesn't get sidetracked by some lousy female!
He will never surpass Parker . You sound like Todd . I won't stop untill I beat that Kid .
Some lousy female,? You sound like a sexist manosphere incel . You want hunter to be an incel like you ? Hunter is a good looking kid on a TV show. He has lots of females in his roster I am sure. Lousy gold miner though. Parker has already hit 50 000 ounces total for his career . Hunter will never hit that . He recites basic mining talking points he learned for the show .
He does have one thing I'm common with Parker and that is entitlement. But at least he has success and the Hoffmans will never beat him .
These guys couldn't find gold at Zales.
You cant test your yields based off of 1 bucket of dirt.
I'd be loading up some of the old mining stuff and tools. The stuff would be worth lots to a collector 😎
Need to see more of Atlas Creek
Amazing video
Amazing find get it guys! 👍🏻
WHat in the hell does a kid know about gold mining? he only been there two minutes, now he is an expert, FFS.
Wow
Jack: Heavenly faaauther, why is Parker so much better at mining then Todd?
They always find the “Richest Grounds” just to have a bunch of issues and take the Biggest Losses. Good luck to them.

Don't be shy to ask Juan and Freddy if things go "nodwell". Often its not like it seems to be, good Luke for the future!
I love how you all display our flag.
The richest ground in gold rush history……..at the end of the Hoffmanns sluce box and tailings pile because they damn sure can’t catch gold out of their wash plant….or they will still have Juan and Freddy there to fix their wash plant because they aren’t catching all the gold
In Australia, they were pulling nuggets
Todd couldn't find his own D with both hands in a dark room
Kid says he doesn’t think anyone has been over there but he sure did drive in on a matted trail aaaand didn’t it look like he shoveled out of a pile of dirt that was put there
Have you seen his music video? So funny
Is Hoffman back?
Hoffman and finds gold unless it's in Jacks pocket after a gold clean up is always a lie
There just happened to be a spiked pile of gravel full of gold there waiting for this kid to take 1/4 of a bucket full back to be tested...How about you did a few feet, get down to gravel, and fill the bucket up? Come on man, this is so freaking silly.
