I'm relatively new to Sonic gameplay, (I'm into the series for the art and characters) but this is how I try to play Sonic CD. Good to see that more people are starting to understand the first true collectathon. (Mario 64 fans are gonna hate me for saying the the last thing)
I honestly don’t even like Sonic 3 that much, Sonic 2 is better, but then again Sonic CD is even better, but then you got Unleashed, BUT THEN you also have Sonic Blast for the Game Gear which is the best Sonic game.
Tell me you can't complete the first level in under 50 seconds achieving the good future and a time stone in under 20 seconds, without telling me you can't complete the first level in under 50 seconds achieving the good future and a time stone in under 20 seconds
To offer some constructive criticism, I feel like the intro and overall lead-up to the actual topic of the video takes way too long and a lot of it is unnecessary. I’d recommend getting to the point a little faster in future videos, but other then that, good video 👍
thank you! im usually the one who writes the scripts (not the one for the next video, sadly) so this advice is extremely appreciated! not to sound fake of course, i really do appreciate it.
the future actually changes, not just in Zone 3. if you achieve a good future in a zone, aside from just having the end cards reflect that, you can now travel to the zone's good future, and the bad future is locked away for that zone. that being said, the good future is pretty useless, and you can complete the zone in any of its four variations without problems, it just matters how many timestones you've collected, or how much good futures you've achieved. if you achieve a good future in both zones of a round, its third zone will also be a good future. also, what's the point of leaving the gameplay clip in silence? you could have recorded a voice-over and edited it on top of the clip.
The correct way to enjoy and have fun with CD is to collect only the Time Stones, and ignore the boring as hell scavenger hunt aspect. Not much mystery to it, as sad as it is to ignore the main appeal of the game, but it's just sooo much funnier when your only worry is getting 50 rings.
Nonsensical condescension from a child with no critical thinking skills

Thank you for this video, I have now played through Sonic CD correctly, and I plan to play through it correctly once every week, if not more.
