Lucifer is honestly 10x better than I expected him to be in terms of his personality with the playful gentle manners he presents himself to be. I was honestly expecting a character more... controlling maybe? Cruel for a start, taking into consideration he's the most powerful in Hell. But he genuinely seems like a nice character (leaving out how he speaks towards Razzle and Dazzle in the vid) despite all the power he possesses. However, you could say he still shows authority when it counts/matters in the moment.
It's not that surprising to be honest. Making Lucifer another depiction of cruelty and evil would be boring and predictable. (like most media depict Hades which is complete opposite) Dude was an angel, this world isn't perfect and even despite being Ruler of Hell he's still being himself. Why not have some fun while you have entire eternity to live?

He was a good angel, he does have a chaotic attitude and his been a little trouble maker. But he didn't mean all this to happen. But his family just kick him out of the house .

From the pilot and brief times he's been mentioned before his first appearance, you'd imagine Lucifer to be a cold, uncaring man towards his daughter, but actually he's in the same head space as Charlie is in when it comes to their relationship. They want to be closer and connect with one another but hold back because they mistakenly believe that the other doesn't think so highly of them.

Talking about Lilith and Alastor: they both disappeared 7 years ago. And after returning back the first thing Alastor did was coming to Hazbin Hotel. What if Lilith has some kind of a deal with him, that he needs to help Charlie? I mean, also Husk mentioned Alastor being on a leash.
