Can you tell how to measure the approximate length of each cord before cutting according to the chair size? Thanks😉
Measure the length of sittings area of chair, if you’re going for square knots then multiply it with 1.5 and then double it, you’ll get size of your one cord.

@@user-tr4gy1pw3h I'm going to buy cord to make this. To clarify, it's 3 x the length of the chair? You said you used 8m of cord and the length of the chair is 43 inches. But 43x3 is 3.3m
@@tarync5911 i do not remember why I wrote those measurements at that time.
1 square knot measures approximately 1.10” For 43”, there will be approximately 35-40 square knots in one vertical line. 1 square knot uses approx 7-8 cms. For safer side, i take 10 cms. So 40 knotsx10 cms= 400 cms x2= 800cms which is 8 metres. The extra will go in opening and closing base knots

What size of macrame( in mm) you used to make this,can we use 2 or 3 mm 3ply twisted cord?
You can use 2 or 3mm but then you will have lot more knots than mine. Thicker the cord, lesser the cord size and number of knots. Mine is 4mm 3ply

I used 320 metres total and it took around 3 days to complete the same.
