Parashat Lech Lecha 5783: Who was Abraham?
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 3 ноя 2022
- Abraham was the first of the true believers, an iconoclast who stood alone against the entire world, proclaiming that there is only One God. He had no teacher - what was the source of his inspiration and courage? Why is he the only personality in the Bible whom God calls ‘My love?’
The Torah portion of Lech Lecha (Gen. 12:1 - 17 : 27) is read on Shabbat, MarCheshvan 11, 5783 - November 5, 2022

Shabbat Shalom Rabbi!
I absolutely Love this teaching. Thank you. So much about Abraham’s background I didn’t know. Interestingly, Mishael, Hananiah and Azariah faced a similar Fiery fate later on. Could they have been inspired by Abraham’s steadfast faith in HaShem to face their furnace of faith? We may never know but it seems plausible.
Shavuah Tov to you with great deep felt appreciation Do you ever quote in short from the parasha in Hebrew just to touch the source thank thank thank you very very much
