    Also, having more mass will increase your board’s top speed. Since all the energy we have to convert to speed comes from gravitational potential energy (acceleration due to gravity * mass * hight), the only ways to give yourself more energy (excluding pushing) is to get a higher hill or add mass. Even adding a kilogram could give you a noticeable boost at world-record speeds. Though, I don’t think this amount of additional mass would make much difference if you weren’t going for a record

    dude I also don't know what I want to do with my life, skating is pretty much the only constant. It makes me happy though so I keep doing it. In the end I feel that's an accomplishment also.

    As always great video!
    You looked a little sick from drilling holes in your bored and not liking the outcome. I'm going to try this but I'm going to use double-sided sticky tape on the weight and then just duct tape all the way around the bottom and top of the board to hold it in place just see if I like it and to find the right location and go from there...
    I was thinking rivnuts would work great because you can bolt it down and then tape over the top without having anything sticking up.
    Good luck finding your path or direction in life, I wish you the best! I've been following your content for a while now it's been a huge source of information on how to longboard.
    Cheers!

    Toughts on maybe using double sided really sticky tape to hold it for a test run to see if u enjoy it, so you dont end up with holes in ur deck? Do you think it would hold?

      I tried it and it didn’t work very well. Might have been the tape I was using but it’s worth a try if you have strong enough tape

    Having a weight feels "swingy" when riding switch. Kinda like towing something heavy, maybe?

    • @d.p.l9623
      @d.p.l9623 15 дней назад

      You don’t ride switch with a weight 😂. It’s made for smaller wb boards that generally run big split angles in the trucks

      @@d.p.l9623 Yeah, I understand the purpose of a ballast weight. I just had to try it out switch to know what it was like firsthand.

    Good to see you again! Awesome content as always. Consider reaching out to missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They're not therapists, but I know they help people find meaning, purpose and direction in life! A friend of mine recently benefited a lot from talking with them :)
