I feel marriage has it's ups and downs as singleness does as well.
Marriage = struggles/BLESSINGS.
Singleness = closer knit with God/BLESSINGS.

I agree that's what Paul was talking about when you're single you can put God 100% first. When you're married there's always that pull to serve your spouse. This is why the Bible said there's a curse on women to want to rule over their husbands and Men will rule over their wives which means there's is constant struggle behind the scenes and that takes away from your relationship with God. This is why I Paul said it's better to stay single if you want to serve the Lord fully and 100%, ,that's just the truth. But I also believe that there are a lot of spiritual blessings that come along with marriage that single don't get to experience. Like two people praying on a matter God will honor a husband and wife and be quicker to show them favor and bless them then he will a single person, especially a single woman. I'm just thankful we get to heaven that as a single woman I will be able to be blessed just as much as everyone else because everyone is Heaven is single. There is no marriage in heaven.
Gods Remnant I think we are married with Jesus and we are his bride in heaven.

Hello Mark! I love all your videos. You are truly blessed with the gift of teaching. After viewing this video, marriage is definitely best for me and I desire to be married . I have issues with being patient. I'm 40 years old with no children and I just sometimes get frustrated with God because I have not been found by my husband as of yet. I see so many unsaved women that God seems to be allowing them to find the man of their dreams and it's really frustrating. I do realize that God reigns on the unjust as well as the just but again, I hate waiting. I know that sounds harsh but it's the honest truth. I know that God's timing is not our timing as well. I love LOVE and I want to experience it really soon. You have several videos on singleness and dating and I believe that I have viewed them all. I guess I just wanting to vent for a moment and get it off my chest. LOL Thanks again for your encouragement through your videos.

It is not God's responsibility to find you a husband. He'd much rather have you single & serve him completely. Also, do not concern yourself with the affairs of others, thats the easiest why to look past the blessings of God on your life & you'll live an unsatisfied life if you continue to. Stay blessed
I have been in the music ministry for quite a long time now, and all i ever wanted was to please God with my life and not have an undivided attention for Him, but this is where the irony comes that whenever i am alone and idle i tend to think about things that disrupts my vision in glorifying God without any distractions, in most cases i fail God because of what Paul is saying about burning passion, right now i am 32 years old, and havent been married yet, it really is a serious struggle i need to get over with, i always feel guilty that i cant even worship and offer to God, without any thoughts of getting married, i dont want to make it as a reason or excuse that only getting married can bring me peace,im still hoping that one day God will be providing that wonderful lady whom i be partnered with in the same ministry that am a part of. Please pray for me. God bless

Think he slightly over appreciated singleness
Women often appear idolized and sexualized. People upsess over relationships but being content in singleness is peace. For me, I use to think about marriage every day for years but it never got me anywhere ecept wasting time on envy. Choosing to be joyful everyday with or without a partner is power!

so where it's in the "imperative" "don't seek a wife" in 1 Cor. 7: 27, if the person has been "Freed" from a wife, meaning the person who was once married, I've taken this at God's word as a commandment that makes it a "sin" if it's disobeyed, especially since it's in the "imperative" while the other ones are not in "imperative" but just "In suggestion languages like "it's better to... etc.

Singleness is not singleness at all when you are married to Christ.
To answer the question posed: Yes. That is especially true given the context in which Paul wrote that chapter. During the first century, AD Aphrodite worship was pervasive in Corinth -- so much so that finding a godly woman to marry was like finding a needle in a haystack. Given that, a man would be well advised not to waste time and effort making marriage a priority -- indeed, given that Judeo-Christian patriarchy was at odds with Corinthian Aphrodite culture, marriage was by necessity relegated to lesser importance given how toxic such worship is to family stability.
Two millenia later, we sadly find that Western civilization has become Corinth writ large: between laws hostile to family stability and "effinism" pervading so many minds, hearts and souls, a man is again well advised to think twice about seeking a wife. Many men who think God called them to marriage are confusing His commands with societal pressures that blind them to the reality illustrated above.

A friend of mine just left his psycho wife after 6 years of marriage and two children.
He lost his house, half his assets and pays child support.
Maybe because the men are terrified of losing half their pension, half their salary for the rest of their lives, the kids, the house, the car.. ending homeless and suicidal. Might have something to do with it.
