The origin of the quote on your wall is Dr. Timothy Leary. Interesting…
👀 I love when people start to really pay attention. We got a lot to talk about as you notice! I appreciate you tuning in bro‼️🥂
I get it.....Fighting on and off for 20 years opioid addiction....I'm to the point of being sick and tired of being sick and tired !!
Keep going man you got this! Glad to see you still here with us today!
Been taking mat for 4 years. Im my opinion its very helpful.
methadone acute withdrawals when you taper off are less intense then short acting opiates but man the longer you stay onthe longer the post acute withdrawals and those are a marathon, i was on methadone 14 years and high dosage but was able to taper off 8 months ago.because i was on so long i still have withdrawal symptoms today
That's awesome! Definitely seems to help a lot of people I've seen it myself!
For opioids like heroin or oxycodone addiction turns into half part still obviously loving the highs but the other half is really only focused on the avoiding withdrawals. That was my experience.
I agree with that.
As part of the withdrawals, I can't get motivated to do anything, I can't clean, can't do laundry, , so I relapse just so I can get stuff done
@@ShannonDove-sy7ye the trick is tapering down and when you get off get comfort meds like clonidine or kratom (only take kratom for a week or only when things get real bad as its addictive) i was on methadone 14 years and high dosage but been off it for 8 months.
I could definitely see that being the case. I'm also sure it's a day to day thing... Some days we're getting high, others were avoiding withdrawal. Appreciate your input into the channel‼️🥂🙌
It takes just six days of consecutive (daily) use to feel the physical effects of withdrawal. And, that’s only the lighter easier ones, .5’s, and .10’s. The shit is no damn good!
I need to do some more research into this. I suspect that withdrawal from that small a dose on that short a time wouldn't be too bad but that is interesting.
