Agreed: That was THE BEST place ever..........Keeps getting better All the time Adam! 👍 Hi Matt!
Mrs H .... You just keep finding great places to explore...This it amazing...😉
those books❤❤❤
Just heard your message about your mom. I'm so sorry. Actually brought tears when you said you lost your 1st subscriber. Don't believe that though. She'll always be with you and watching. I am 53 years old and my mom is 80 and still extremely healthy. I can't imagine life without her. So, I really feel for you. Just hang in there Adam and know that all of us out here love you and your work.
It's so sad that an entire person's life is now just abandoned. This truly breaks my heart to see.
Was thinking the same thing. Seeing the photos is especially sad. The culmination of ones life left to rust and dust.
It's cool to see but sad to see at the same time there is a lot of good/nice belongings be overtaken by mother nature that is really sad I wish someone would rescue this stuff and enjoy it as much as this person who owned it before
Many of the most worthy people are left alone. Veterans are another example. We have so many left injured and homeless. Society needs a huge reflection.
@@kimberleyjane2338 Mmmmm yes indeed.
The consolation is that we see evidence of an eccentric life well lived on the person's own terms. I like that. About as close as is possible to get to living as an independent free spirit. Wonderful.
This house has the man's character written all over it. An impressive individual to my way of thinking.
Someone i wouldn't mind meeting.
It may have a man's character but the clothing was for a woman. Hard to believe a couple lived in that house.
@@emeraldhope8829 The "woman" may have come along after his death.
@@emeraldhope8829 I suppose it's possible he was a cross-dresser. That wouldn't make him no less interesting.
@@oldjake4233 That might be but the fact that the two beds were pushed together suggests there might have been a second person either living there or stay overnight at times.
Adam, greetings to u young man. I've been binge watching your videos this past week. As im an old man who as I told you earlier I live on a small native American reservation (Rez) in South Dakota. I surely appreciate the respect you show the structures and it's possessions, that reflects well on those who raised you. I do worry for you however and wish you would wear disposal gloves and in some cases a mask. I working for my people in the environmental field for many years and can warm you that you should not expose yourself to mold spores unnecessarily if at all possible. Ok now im just an old man preaching. Thank you for the videos. Have fun, learn lots and be careful. Hau Mitakuyaoyasin (we are all related).

Thanks so much I appreciate your comment very much
You're not an 'old man', you have grown more & more wise as time passes.
Forget the age number & just enjoy each day/night as gifts & don't be afraid to swing on swings, the children swinging next to you can learn so much from your kindness's and your sharing of wisdom.
Take care💖🙏
There was definitely a woman living here, so many women’s clothes and items!
Amazing explore Adam!
Agreed. I noticed many of the clothes were for women.
I thought the same. A lot of womens clothing.
I noticed that as well. Perhaps a crossdresser lived there… ❤
Or it could be a man, closely related to Glasslinger.
This explore is one if my favorites! This house is fabulous, the books, the floor….. beautiful. I think I would have liked the people that lived here. Thank you Adam for taking me along !
Stay safe ❤🇺🇸
Wow!! Thank you ❤
The toilet in the kitchen tells me this person didn't really care about impressing others.
That tile floor was absolutely beautiful in its craftsmanship. Only the rich can afford that here in the US nowadays. There are the older well built houses with such things in the city but there it's mostly crowded & noisy & expensive as well 🧡
I'm old enough to remember the 70's and lots of people lived like this, especially in Wales, hippy lifestyle, unconventional and being at one with nature etc, macro-biotic diet, rice, lentils etc. This is a time capsule, just not one you usually find. Took me right back to a time before home ownership sucked me into the system.
If you remember the 70's you aren't old.
A lot of truth in what you are saying. I'm 70 now and always aspired to the hippy lifestyle but materialism overcame that.
But my wife and I live in an eccentric different way, our values are not of those around us.
I remember the 70s . It takes me back to the 30s40s50s60s .It was how i was raised and was born:)
The 70s was 50 years ago. One is, in fact old, if you remember them
@@philiptownsend4026 Thank-you for your comment Philip after someone pointed out that I am indeed old! You are so right in saying that our attitude hasn't changed despite becoming somewhat conventional in lifestyle and I think this is important. We didn't think like most people in the 70s and certainly don't now. Hard to explain really but we always felt different, perhaps there just wasn't that many of us in the 70s. I am certain that you know what I mean. Kind regards.
With the rock wall leading up to the house it made it seem special. But the inside was definitely much better. Made me think of a house you'd find in a fairy tale. Where an aged old person lived who knew the secrets of the world. Including where to find the secret entrance to the fabled world. Definitely a great little place.
Wow so true, I love that notion....what a beautiful, magical place 💜💜💜
I love that notion and feel the same way, we just use different words my friend.
Amazing find, do the owner a favour and don't tell anyone the location
Incredible home! One of my friends is an artist and the house has a similar aesthetic. They don't have a loo in the kitchen though. I felt sad for no reason watching this, I'd love to know what happened to the people who lived there.
I was sad, too, sad for the house. This is a house that needs to be lived in.
Hermit hippie, living a carefree lifestyle obviously uninterested in material possessions. Fantastic to glimpse into his life style. It’s always sad to see his precious things just disintegrating. Great uploads guys ❤️👍🙏
His or hers. A lot of material possessions in the form of books a recorded media but I know what you mean. A wonderful lifestyle.
Wow Adam, what an absolute gem 💎 we don't really care for the big rambling houses, even though they are interesting, The smaller quaint places seem to say alot more about the people who lived there... You're explores go from strength to strength Adam, we absolutely love you're work and we can't look at you without thinking of our oldest grandson... He looks so much like you.🏡👍✅💞
Thank you Adam/Matt. This was absolutely stunning. I loved every inch of it (well, perhaps not the toilet in the kitchen!). You kept referring to 'him' , but the clothes in the bedroom looked to be feminine. May be there had been a couple here at one time? Hope you manage to find some information about the householder(s).
I’m keen to know more too,and I though the same with all the ladies dresses. Unless that was his thing.
I agree with you, the whole place felt like a woman 's home.
This house makes me heartsick for a life I left behind. This off grid cottage is paradise for an artist who lived just for the sake of sleeping, eating and breathing art.
If we could all just live that perfect life! It would be amazing.👍🍀🏡✅
@@samandjennysambrook we could.
It just takes some fortitude and doing some research to do it.
@@1953beetle a bit too late for me and the missis mark,we are a bit too old to do it now! But as younger people maybe 🤔
@@samandjennysambrook Take care anyhow,OK.
@@1953beetle we are good,we live in a little bungalow on the edge of the village with trees all around...we are happy and peaceful 🍀🏡✅👍
Dear Adam, this isn't just 'living off the grid' it is more like 'living BEFORE the grid' 😃 which is easier than people think if we don't care about having power
I've lived off grid for years and it's awesome, less is more!:)
Not really off-grid with a telephone and electricity meter including immersion heated boiler!
I couldn't read all the comments by the time I watched this vid, but the thing that you thought was a "lock" on the telephone is actually the finger stop. When you dialed a phone number back in the day, when you selected each number to dial, the dial would swing back into place with a clicking sound (the number of clicks was the number you selected). So if you dialed a "nine" you would hear nine clicks and the phone used that information to place your phone call to who ever you were calling. And I agree with the other people commenting about a woman living there also. That was definitely a woman's purple dress at time stamp18:34 hanging on the wall by the end of the bed. Also, at 18:47 you can see the elastic cuff on the blouse that only a woman would wear. An absolutely fantastic find. keep up the good work!
By far the best you've ever done. The combined bathroom/kitchen was quite normal back in the day. My grandparents had a bath in the kitchen, the loo was outside the back door in a wooden shed. We did all we could to keep warm so often lived in one room in spite of having more. I still have my Nan's Singer! And I'm an old lady now.
Brenda you are exactly right from memories told to me by parents and older relatives. I'm seventy.
@@philiptownsend4026 Me too !
I think this is my favourite place ever. Even abandoned and mouldy, it it gives off a warmth. That car would be worth a lot to s restorer.
This guy was definitely an old hippy and by the looks of it was well sorted off grid, wonderful place, the best explore I've seen, such a shame no-one could take over after he left for whatever reason. I could happily live here. Wonderful find Marc.
You will only see a kitchen and a bathroom in a tiny apartment in New York City and this house. I kinda like this little cottage,it’s kinda cool. The machine in the morgue is what pumps the formaldehyde mixture into the body after the blood is removed. It’s missing pieces and it’s vintage but the newer version’s look about the same.
I really, really like this place. Bohemian atmosphere. As an artist I can totally imagine myself there. A little feminine touch and it's perfect. 😉 Thank you so much Mark for this one. 😊❤
& Matt ❤
@@akaPixelChick Yes, and Matt.😊❤
Thank you Adam, that was very interesting. Why do you think, it was a man living there? Cloths and china indicates a woman was at least with "him".
I like your videos, how you let us see through your eyes & i like your style and your voice.
Really well done and a joy for me to watch
I’d love to spend a few days just going through all the books and artwork in these places. So amazing.
What a treasure ❤. I’m truly puzzled by the bathroom/kitchen combination 😳. I get it makes sense to have all the plumbing close together but 🤷♀️.
Thank you for sharing this explore with us. Waiting for the next one, take care ♥️🇨🇦
My friends old house had a bathroom adjoined to the kitchen 🤣🤣used to make me gag thinking of someone taking a you know what while cooking 🤮🤣🤣🤣
@@hazelduerdoth4333 I know. Your mind just can’t help going in that direction. So you’re mixing something with your hands and then if you need to use the facilities? Eww!
@@justineheinrichs2798 it’s not worth thinking about 🤣🤣🤣
If the person lives alone then no worries.
I love how you leave everything the way it was. I see so many destroyed and looted.
What a beautiful intriguing place❤️ I could live there but bathroom would have to come out of the kitchen 🤣🤣! It had a very calm feel to it! Great one!
I love how respectful you are of these persons memories yet showing us the amazing stuff
True museum for independent off grid living. Home that was obviously cherished by it's owner. Wonderful.
The house was cool how the lay out of it. All compact together. So much history in one place . cant wait till the next one
Hi Adam!, I knew a family that lived over a pub, their washing up got done in the Bathroom as it was a really weird layout, this reminds me of that...I can't help cringing though at the thought of clean dishes being so close to the shitter!!🙄 I'm happy to have my loo separate from the rest of the bathroom just to know my toothbrushes are clear of it let alone anything else!🤣 What an amazing place though, my husband is a poet and I'm an artist...we would be quite at home there, I would just need to rearrange the layout somewhat though and put some proper stairs in. beeyootiful!!, thanks for sharing!
This house was amazing just the books alone are probably worth a lot of money and when you were on the second floor where the two beds were, there was a sheet that look like underneath it was a boxed TV. Thanks for the journey
I think a couple lived there at one point. There were women's clothes in the bedroom and you were looking through a bowl of women's jewelry. The workshop area definitely looked more masculine but I get the idea the wife did alot of the canning. AMAZING HOME! I LOVE IT! ❤
Or, and hear me out, this person was trans and in the closet. I get a strong autistic vibe to the place with a special interest in biology. There is a considerably higher rate of transgender individuals who are on the spectrum. It was also a lot less acceptable back the to be trans.
@@kd5ctt there were two beds though
Love your channel! From the states but my family live in Wales. I don’t understand why there are so many abandoned places there. They are beautiful and should have been sold……so weird
In this case the property was a remote small farm disused for decades before the last occupant bought it.
Small farms are a miserable money loosing unviable drudgery these days. Nobody wants that land, it has now been returned to nature.
I have never seen anything like this before. Great job Adam. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVED this place. You can always tell by the books people have. It seems like he loved nature and art. His place is still beautiful. Thank you❤
I like that you are respectful and appreciative. You put things back how you found them.
That was absolutely incredible. The place had so much character I would have loved a house like that. It's such a shame that the house was left to rot.
The home is a physical extension of the person, the person goes and the house and their past slowly goes too.
Happy and fulfilled lives were lived there.
This place is so amazing, just seeing inside and seeing how this guy lived, I’d love to know his story and learn of his travels and his eventual demise. I’m thinking he must have passed away on one of his travelling adventures. Epic! Thanks Adam & Matt, this has to be one of my new favourite places now. ❤❤
What amazing house would love to just set there and go through some stuff. Interesting and baffling. Great video Adam.
The room with the table is absolutely amazing,
This has to be my favourite explore you have done. The preservation is amazing. I really hope it stay out of the hand of vandals. I bet this was a very interested person who lived here
Adam this explore was a blast from the past alright, eerie and sad vibes coming from this property
It takes a certain type of people to work in a morgue 😮. Would have loved taking a trip back in time to when the house was occupied to see and feel the ambiance of different people coming and going. Xx
This place was so so cool! I wish we had some details on the man that lived here. Character exudes out of this place. I loved it. How he crawled across all those beams to place the artwork there. Wish his stuff wasn’t going to rot away.
I loved it! Thank you for working so hard to entertain us! I appreciate everything you do and have so much respect. ✌&❤ from America
WOW, What an amazing property. I wish you knew who lived there and their biography
I can imagine they were eccentric in their ways.
At night you would hear the wildlife outside, whilst the fire is crackling, and you’re in a comfy chair reading a book.
This is the BEST explore ever for me. It’s just fantastic
This house is full of character & you can tell a lot about the mans life.
THIS has to be the best one you ever visited i loved it.
Hi Adam😊 This is definitely an interesting house! I agree with you, I think they lived off the land. I say a lot of books about Mushrooms, Poultry, Flowers etc. How about the kitchen/bathroom combo?!?! Lol Very strange! 😂 Thanks for another great investigation!
Amazing find. So sad everything was left behind. So many books. I would guess a couple lived here with one out living the other. It seems someone was a naturalist or historian from the titles of some of the books. Perhaps a poet or a writer of some type. It would be amazing to find a journal/ diary. There was a lot of writing instruments visible but not a lot of art supplies. I'm guess the bathroom / kitchen combo was because that was the only place pipes came into & exited the home.
Thanks Adam, another special explor, love your comments and respect 😊
Fascinating! I agree with you that the man was an eccentric artist. It almost looks as if everything was left in a special way in hopes that it would be explored someday just as you are doing. The house was his canvas and I appreciate the respect you afford the house. Great video and done with taste!
i loveee the brick/tile floors. thats one house i would love to see restored ... i could totally live there and be satisfied.
Back to what you do best. No one else can describe and pay respect to these places like you do. Loved every second!!
Possibly my favourite explore that you’ve done Adam. Certainly out of all the smaller properties. I personally prefer the explores rather than the ghost hunting episodes. Hope you can find some more places like this here in the uk. Nice to see somewhere without vandalism for a change
This place is an extraordinary find. Absolutely love it ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Adam marks and mat couldn't get over the amount of stuff left behind what a beautiful country side trip to the home enjoyed the video from Australia 🇦🇺👍♥️
Hey Adam, I really enjoyed this one, so interesting! My son lives off the grid ,built it with his girlfriend. They love it, so peaceful living out in the country away from the fast life... GREAT. VID as always! Thank you... from NY
I'm so looking forward watching this amazing video. Let's hope the property is not vandalised because its so sad seeing the property damage .Also its so interesting to see what expensive items left behind inside the abandoned property.
Very interesting to see this place, very unusual too. Love watching your videos. It just shows how materialistic stuff can be so unimportant when you see what’s left behind in these places.
What an insight into someone’s previous life. Frozen in time! Just an Awsome journey!
Absolute beauty Adam. Wow, my ideal home! Would love to have had a closer look at the books poetry and music cassettes. Thanks a million.
Great find Adam and Matt! It looks like a giant artist's loft ❤😃👍👍❤
AMAZING explore, Adam! I think it looks more like a woman lived there. The clothing in the bedroom closet look like women’s clothing and the orderliness and whistful ambience gives off a more feminine vibe.
I love seeing old places like this…if u ever come to the US there’s all kinds of abandoned history throughout Minnesota u could explore…keep up the amazing work and thank u for sharing 😊
Incredible house so peaceful really enjoyed this Thank you for taking us this journey Stay safe ❤
Adam you never fail us with your explores, wow what a house. All the items, true time capsule, thank you Adam and Matt x
I love this house. I could live there. So sad that all is left. Would love to know more about owner. Thank you for sharing.
This is not just a house ,it realy was his home, his warm coat to shelter in. Amazing❤
Love it that you are so respectfull in every house.
Spooky to think the last person to store the food on the shelf's is the long dead hose owner all just still there uneaten as if time has stood still a life lived and now sadly gone but all his world is just left to rot how sad ... may he or them rest.
Absolutely amazing explore!! I literally saw the exact same colour morris minor on the motorway yesterday😨!!! Thanks Adam & Matt 🫶🏼🫶🏼
Yup Moggies are still viable everyday drivers.
I really admire how brave you are, you almost encounter a ghost but you manage to continue your blog. GOD BLESS.
Hi Adam and Matt, this is wonderful, my heart bleeds for the abandoned books; I hope you are able to find out some history on this amazing house and owner. The mortuary was quite standard re the fridges etc. The machine was a pump, used in embalming etc., (I am an undertaker). Clearly the fridges have not been used for quite some time. This was an amazing explore….hats off to you for finding it.
I loved this explore, has to be my favorite. Such a strange house, loved out buildings also. Thanks Adam.😁
That was just amazing explore really enjoyed this 😊
That's definitely one of the coolest places I've seen! I would have loved to see it about 25 years earlier or so. Nice find! Thanks guys! 👍👍
This has to be one of my fave explores. Would love to find out more info on the owner.
❤ as always I'm waiting patently for the new expore 😊 I just love knowing there's a new adventure we are all going on together thanks to Adam.. yay.. 25 hours to go bring it on.. looks epic 🎉
But where is the morgue? A short video that I was excited about💔👍🏻
Urbexers never give out any locations of their targets. Too many vandals know how to use internet (and RUclips)
Absolutely one of my favourites, definitely a very interesting and talented individual person, got the hippie or boho type vibe, just loved living life his own way 😁
Thanks for taking me on a world trip that I will never be able to do in person. XX
Adam and Matt hello! I would love to explore with you guys in all the areas you go to. The places are lovely. As I live in Los angeles, California. We don't have castles or stately mansions as that. Love your videos.
Hi ya, Mark and Matt
I look forward to Sundays, laundry+coffee+Adam mark explores. I would love to watch an unedited of this exploration. Oh, you could edit tour gaffs if you wanted. I have as short an attention span as others but, I would totally watch you two for a couple of hours. ❤ keep on exploring. Great job both of you
Beautiful country sight
What a lovely, little, quirky house. I bet it was nice before the decay set in. Nice to see it's not been messed about & damaged. Thanks for a lovely video Adam x
This is such a cool place. Really loved the brick flooring 🥰
Definitely a bit eccentric with the bathroom/kitchen doubling up! Another great explore guys 🌞😍
This was a neat little place ,its great how he had it set up,reminds you of the tiny homes they build ,the lofts ,and usage of all spaces ,you always do an excellent job
FANTASTIC!!! Wouldn't you like to see what is on some of the old VHS tapes? Maybe family videos. I love this place!!!
wow what a place, that was a great video adam just wow lost in time. thank god no one has gotten into it to mess it up thanks for the tour love ya from USA
I really like your new intro. Just from the first room, you can tell whoever lived here was creative and resourceful. Great find. Also, love all your videos. You and Matt seem like such lovely people.
Not necessarily a world traveler, but definately a man (yes, a man) with a wide ranging mind. What a beautiful house. What a beautiful interior.☮💗
Loved this one too. But surely it was a woman who lived here? The clothes, jewellery?
@@katetoch9167 Or at least a couple, 2 beds together and another bed upstairs. Maybe a couple at one time then just 1 person at the end, be it the wife or the husband ?
