Airi Akamiya was the oldest member at 20 during this episode. She was the Leader at XGALX/XG and worked with Jurin (XG's Leader now) on the choreo. We still don't know what happened but it looked like to me she got a phone call or a message on the phone that obviously upset her.
We will get some answers next episode... It looked like she was having a hard time, and I can't even imagine what it must have felt to prepare with the girls but ending up not debuting with them... And also, Jurin had to take the position of leader, even if she wasn't for years! WOW, I mean, she had the aura of a leader even if she wasn't one officially ❤

Because if you watch Airi is with Jurin a lot in this Documentary and is mentioned alongside her a lot by the other girls when it comes to Choreo. Also when they were doing their 1st Live performance and Airi was giving her speech, Jurin was right next to her watching her. Hikaru mentioned how much she learned from Airi too and that she's a real leader.
Maybe Jurin was supposed to be the 2nd leader, same as Chisa now. I think all these girls had a huge influence on each other, but I do feel like Airi helped everyone a lot
Simon still checks up on Airi Akamiya and Rei. Kamikura Rei was part of Girls Planet 999 but she didn't get picked to join Kep1er like Hikaru. I've heard that Rei is still at XGALX/Avex. Airi is currently doing solo things. She has her own channel called KAMIYA.
I actually started following Rei on Instagram today and I can't find Airi anywhere, but I do want to follow her journey! They worked so hard, hopefully Airi does amazing on her solo journey and Rei debuts soon❤
Told you! Waited whole day to see this. And it was worth it. I've run out of words how to describe this insanely talented group of girls (even the 3 girls who wasn't able to be part of XG) - the talent and dedication they possess is just unmatched. Showing this masterfully done documentary just makes us to love these girls more (as if we're not already head over heels with them) Simon really honed this girls to the hilt. Even with the criticisms, he still brings out the best of the girls. And look what we have now -- GLOBAL SUPERSTARS who can do anything A1 flawless. XG is basically an insane dance crew, a Hiphop supergroup, a vocal powerhouse merged into one. And the funny thing is we haven't seen half of the things that they can do, because they always exceeds our expectation. --- Mini Album will be out on 27/09/2023. They also released teaser for the next single/comeback HESONOO.
I can't wait for the album and for all the teasers, omg!!! I cried so much with this episode, even editing... The bond the 10 girls had/have with each other is so special! I really cried because even if we knew it was coming, it was a new beginning for everyone, but I will support the other 3 girls!! They deserve it ❤
@@maesreacts_ These 10 girls are basically sisters from another mother. Making HESONO-O as their pre performance chant made it so clear why they've chosen that. The concept of the Mini Album is just mind blowing. Yep we love all these girls. Airi is still doing music under the name of KAMIYA. Rei is still under AVEX Artist Academy, Hikaru is still killing it in Kep1er.
I really love these other 3 girls, as well! They deserve all the love from Alphaz... Hopefully we can see more from them in the future! ♥ The concept of the album is CRAZY, but like, really crazy! When I saw the Instagram posts I was shocked with the quality of the pictures, the concept, the fact that it was on our faces all along... I don't know... I can't wait ♥

I think Mascara was going to be the debut with Airi in the group. Something happened with Airi, which caused her to leave the group. Tippy Toes for some reason then became the debut. Cliff hanger endings. Aaarrggh!!!!!
I hate that they leave us like that! But I understand they want everyone to watch the next episode! I know Airi is doing good, but I really hope next episode is not going to kill me because this one kind of did...

Notice Simon-San hiding from the camera on the first scene, when the girls seen each other again - so we wouldn't see him crying. We know Simon-San, we know 😅😊 That scene tho. I'm so proud of these girlies. All of them. We love them so much. These girls love another and still holds true till this day ♥
Omg I didn't even notice him back there!! Imagine what he felt at that moment... He literally said that dropping someone off from the group was like separating from his own child. 😔 Their bond is amazing... I love that these 10 girls + Simon and the staff are one big family. ♥

And we all know he loves these girls so much and only wants the best for them. That last part though that made Juria cry was just so emotional, she's literally sobbing - I saw that look in your eyes, it must've been too much for you.
It is part of the process and it's so necessary! Even if the girls are talented, they needed guidance and they were SO young! It was impossible for them to better themselves without Simon cheering them on but also being strict! The last part was hard to watch... I know this episode was hard, but I think we'll still cry a lot on the next one...

He knows the hardships these girls will face even after their debut, so tough love is necessary in order for them to survive. I think the next episodes will be like an eye opener for us how the 7 of them became more close, after they've chosen to debut. We haven't seen the part where Chisa and Jurin is arguing and the time Juria is crying (again) during a performance, I think.

I said it on my video, the fact that Simon has been through this, it's what makes him the best at this! He knows what to say, how they are going to take things and what they are experiencing. I feel like we are close to the end of the documentary and there are a few things we've not seen, and all of them stress me out because I don't want them to have a hard time... I heard they also announced HITC Jakarta, ofc they have HITC LA, and KCON LA, and will perform GRL GVNG on M Countdown.
