While it may seem difficult to watch, handling coins without gloves is just fine. Nearly 100% of all employees at every professional coin grading service handle submissions glove free. I will agree that for the average collector, wearing gloves is still a good idea - but only over a soft surface...
@@RobFindsTreasure Going without gloves is fine if you only handle the coins by the edges. Touching the faces of the coins, as you do, will leave the coins with unsightly fingerprints in the future, reducing their value.
@@tleav61 Yeah, for me it's the hardest part of watching RFT. I love his positive attitude, his personality, and Charlani is fantastic, but I tell you, my OCD kicks in when the fingerprints get on the coins.

@RobFindsTreasure Bought some BU quarters that were in the "junk" bin at my LCS a few weeks ago. Found what I believe is a 1964D FS-901Type C Rev. Sent it and some other finds to PCGS earlier this week. Hope it comes back with a straight grade. (Looked like it could have been cleaned...)
Whoa. 😳 Is all I can say Rob.. I almost spit out my dinner seeing all these beautiful, beautiful quarters.. I'm a quarter freak. I've got all the 32-64, 65-98, 99-now P,DS.. I'm 3 years late on the video. It was worth it..
WOW !!! That was an amazing video really enjoyed it and Congratulations on finding some exceptional coins. Good luck on your submissions to PCGs and please make a video with your results. Keep up the good work.
That was cool Rob . I remember in 64 my mother giving me and my brother Kennedy halves for the ice cream man , I was just a little guy but I thought that coin was so nice . Enjoyed watching that was awesome.

ohhhh wow!! that is a DREAM hunt!! congratulations on those epic finds!! ive been dying to find a 64-D DDR like that, the FS-801 is so pronounced, it's beautiful!! quarters have some of the best DDOs & DDRs ever and omg seeing them on BU coins like that is just freaking insane. that 63 FS-101 (the second one) was amazing too!! those FS-101's surprised me to see you finding, cause i thought they were only found in mint sets, i have one still in its mint wrapper, but heck those were probably cut out years ago lol, they look better than mine!! XD loved watching, makes me so curious what other varieties you have hoarded up!! :D congrats!!
Just scrolling through & landed on this video while watching remembered I have 2 1959 That I thought there was something to check for but forgot. Well thank you Sir because it was the FS 901 type b proof rev! Not nearly as nice as yours but was a great assist in cataloging.
Hey Rob I have a 1965 quarter, but I don't know if there's any Silver in 1965 quarters but I have one and it sounds just like silver, so I got it to the side when my LCS open back up, but I think I have 1965 silver quarter, it's bu shape
The 3 FS-801’s probably came from a roll the seller got unless they are different stages. If they are the same stage then you should call the dealer and ask if they have any more BU quarters because you’ll probably find more

That's a lot of nice looking quarters. I would have had gloves on myself. I noticed you are using flips that have to be stapled. I bought some of the self sticking flips because I saw you using them. What is your opinion of them?????
@@RobFindsTreasure The only ones I have trouble with are the halves. The rest, quarters, nickels etc., The stay shut. I have to staple the halves. Thanks for replying.
When checking for the type B reverse, how can you be certain that it's not actually a proof strike? On older non-cameo proofs, especially when not in amazing condition, it's hard for me to tell sometimes.
Ok, whichever local coin shop you are going to they have really good coins! Could you order online because I live a few (hundred to thousand miles away from you!?)
How can you tell if it's a Proof or just a Business strike, they look the same to me as I see the in your video, only 1995S I can see the difference, and how do you know if its silver proof or not, or you used the scale to weight it.
