Congratulations they look amazing, could you give them glossy black shoes poking out under the beards or a pile of little snowballs and a few carrots as if we've interrupted them making a snowman! Little sticks and pieces of coal that are used for the snowmens eye's and arm's! A scene of snowmaking little Gnomes and a part built snowman!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE 👍😷👍
Hi Claire, these are adorable, I love that you love air dry clay just like I do. I love your energy too. I use recycled polystyrene, but don't gesso it, maybe mine sticks because it more roughed up as I cut it, hmmmm. So glad I found you now too, thank you for finding my channel too. Really love the finished gnomes 😍
Thank you so much ❤ yes I realise after watching yours that I am quite heavy handed with my clay ... I definitely need to treat it gentler and leave it to dry better without moving it so much 🤣
Hey Claire! I took your advice and I am sooo glad you mentioned this video. It's absolutely perfect!!! My boyfriend is really into the gnomes and has them all around his campsite. These would be awesomely fun to make and give to friends and family. I will call my granddaughter and see if she would like to spend an afternoon with me making these. You never cease to amaze me with all your crafty ideas. 🎄🦌⛄🎅🤶

Mini tips from me (a newb) that just made 4 of these: -Use more clay than you think you need -Work as quickly as you can -Try to do touch-ups right away, not later I've only made little figurines with polymer clay and felt a little nervous branching out, but these were easy once I got the hang of it and managed to not have as many cracks in the clay. Thank you so much for the tutorial! They will make lovely Christmas presents :-)

These are wonderful. So charming. I use a lot of glitter and I mix it into pva glue or whatever my chosen medium is. Water based varnish works as well. Mix enough glitter in to to form a loose paste. Then paint it onto whatever you are making. The glitter doesn't fall off and go everywhere this way. Store any left over paste in a small screw top jar. Claire’s Crafty Corner You’re welcome! I was watching the other collaborations. I’m so in love with yours so much❤️♥️❤️ They are so cute. I never used the clay before but think I’m going to have to make me some.
Thank you so much for posting this video. I have done paper crafting for years, and took up sand blasting, stained glass and fused glass about 5 years ago. I have dabbled with clay YEARS ago (when I pulled out my polymer clay, it was dated 2008 lol). With the state of the world lately and Covid, I've been in a real funk for the past several months and haven't want to do ANYTHING crafty. Completely blocked. Then I saw your video. These are so freaking cute I couldn't stand it. I went out and got me some DAS clay and some cones. My first one was just ok, but I was pleased with my first attempt. I tried the second one this morning (he's cuter than the first one). It has been the most "Christmasy" I have felt this season. It's rainy here today, so I sat in my studio in my pajamas, drinking coffee and made my second gnome while listening to Christmas music. Wonderful morning. Thank for taking the time to share.
