There are also different types of love of course and people can feel love towards a person, animal or an object.
It's not religion. It's showing love through Jesus Christ. If you don't see that they are showing "true love" through all of their actions and only cling onto the part where she mentioned prayer, Christ and the Bible, you should reexamine your life.
