“The Solway Firth is a firth that forms part of the border between England and Scotland”.
The title could also be a reference to the Solway Firth Spaceman, which is a picture of a girl in which what appears to be an astronaut is in the background, which according to the photographer wasn’t there when the picture was taken.
It's 100% about the Solway Firth Spaceman. Listen to the lyrics. He is talking about people pushing him to be something he isn't just to sell records and preserve a certain image etc. Just like the Solway Firth Spaceman. It was later determined that it was just the little girl's mother facing the other side, but people and media took the bait and the picture blew up.
"here is an unexplainable one" refers to the picture of the spaceman 100%

It's definitely a much more progressive, gutteral style for them. I think Corey's voice is at a point where he can do a song like this, and they pull it off reaaally well imo. Good reaction guys!

I totally get your reaction, first listen i couldnt find the sound and the flow. Kinda of sounded like a jumble of instruments and words but since ive heard it multiple times its so good and truly gets me stoked for the album.

Like one other reactor said, it’s heavy like it used to be but it used to be raw heaviness and this seems like more calculated heaviness. Others might disagree but I feel that too personally
I think this song is better without the video. It's best with a pair of headphones and the volume on 10. And I didn't enjoy it the first few times but now I like it almost more than Unsainted.
