You got a really smart wife that can look past all the noise some people cant. She can really get the soul of Slipknot or the real message they want to deliver. Sorry for some misspelled words english is not my native lenguage ( greetings from Argentina)
I’m a nobody and my opinion is just another bunch of words from someone random, but you have nothing to worry about Manuel, you did a great job in getting your words and point across I felt :)
Pretty much what i was thinking. Watching her listen to this song is like watching a movie that you hope ends well, but you're not sure how it ends. So it's suspenseful. This one turned out well tho.
I have to say that I like listening to Kel's review because she is so down to earth and after listening to something so heavy and overwhelming with all the screaming she still manages to speak so calm and chill, it kind of eases me out and her voice is so calm and soft. Glad that you guys have developed respect for this amazing band.
This whole album is both a return to form and a game changer for Slipknot and metal in general. You can react to ANY song off We Are Not Your Kind, you cannot go wrong.
Solway Firth is by far Slipknots best song ever. Instrumentally and vocally there is no song that can compare to this in my opinion. I am in love with Solway Firth and connect to this song on so many levels. Anger and pain. Solway Firth will be tatted on me soon.
You guys have got to listen to some more of the album, it's easily the best work Slipknot has done since 2002. Nero Forte, Critical Darling, Not Long For This World Orphan and A Liar's Funeral are amazing.
Yayyy you guys got to my request!! Lol. Great reaction to a great song!! WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND!!!! Hope you guys react to the rest of the album that would be fantastic!!! Love you both!!!
Almost every song on this album is worth reacting to. Most are heavy but have some amazing melodic vocals mixed in. A few are slower emotional songs with great lyrics.
I became a maggot from the first time listening to Slipknot with Wait & Bleed. Must be 20 or so years ago now. Have all the albums, including the new one, which i love!
I wanted to headbang but I refrained since I have a stomach bug and my neck is sore. Not headbanging to Slipknot is one of the hardest things to do for me.😂
I think I've said it before, but yall do not have enough subs. Your reactions are to real and authentic to not be heard. Love you guys! I'm seeing them Sep 8th in H-town! There is a band not many people know but I think yall would appreciate. They were called "Atomship". I would recommend playing the album from start to finish but here are a few to think about: Pencil Fight (Commercial Hit back in 2004), Whitfield (My preferred choice), Aliens or Mothra (Both have a similar vibe but are musically amazing). Thank you both. Keep doing your thing.
I had my doubts about Jay. That he wouldn't be able to do justice for Joey. But on this new album he did fuckn great. Still not as great as Joey but great.
Another thing, the screams are what can deliver ones opinion of said music which sadly drive a lot of people away. What slipknot delivers instrumentally is brilliant, the lyrics and scream/growl grow on you as you listen to them and I wish more people listened with an open mind.
Hey Rich-n-Kel I just wanted to let you guys know that I have the same shirt that Rich is wearing in this video along with a dragon shirt that he has in a later video that I had just gotten for my birthday this year keep up the awesome reviews. I found you guys because I wanted to see other people’s reactions to the new tool album. And I totally agree with the both of you and Ben about the new Tool album it’s amazing and I think it’s one of their best and I wish you guys the best of luck and keep on rocking.
Guys,. I'm very pleased with your reviews, keep em up! As a request from this same album, I'd love to see you reacting to Birth of the Cruel. It's my favourite along with Solway Firth in WANYK.
One of the best songs I have heard of them for a while love this song brutal and heavy an coery Taylor at his best I'm going 2 see them next July 2020 in Manchester England
Can’t stop listening to this song, it’s so brutal and awe inspiring, this will be a natural high live, phenomenal live band.I really think you would adore Jaguar God by Mastodon it’s a contrast of pummelling metal and dream theatre esche prog rock beauty🤘🏻
Jay is banging those cans like a perfect mad man, his playing is awesome. I had my doubts when back in the day Knot informed that Jay replaces Joey, but holy fuck, he is a killer. Though his dad is an amazing drummer, apple didn't fall far from the tree in a skill wise.
Definitely agree with Nero Forte, but I also very highly suggest #Slipknot#Red Flag. I personally think Red Flag might be a little underrated. Thank you for the videos! Keep it going!
Just noticed your stratocaster :) I had a pink strat too haha :D It was my first guitar and i worked over 6 months to get it when i was 16 :D Awesome guitar
Soul way firth is the song that made me a fan for life. Corey Taylor doesn't sing about non sense. There's an important message in everything he sings.
I did not understand the words until I listened to the lyrics. I can sing the words now awesomeness, the song has even more meaning. Dam the best I've heard!!!!!!!!💯🎸🥁💯🤡
“Here’s an Unexplainable One” is about this Solway Firth related Image is this little girl and the mysterious spaceman behind her in the photo (it was like a 60s-70s picture) where the father, who took the photo claimed the spaceman was never there. So I believe that’s the connection.
Nero Forte or critical darling! Check out one or both or those! Both have a clean vocals incorporated with the screaming which I think you'll enjoy a lot! This particular song Solway Firth is probably the heaviest on the album so kudos for that.
The new album is some of the best stuff they've ever come out with in my opinion in terms of musicianship they sound absolutley amazing so heavy tight and technical its the best Corey has sounded in a long time and really personal lyrics he put everything on the table
Cory's mentor was Michael Patton from faith No more, Patton has a flare about him and I think is the best Singer to experiment with all styles of music even paving the way for other newer upcoming bands like Slipknot. As the first red hot chille peppers singer who they lost hugely took all of his funk rock and classical skills with him causing a rift between them. The Chille peppers are still upset. A couple of great songs I like is Midlife Crisis will blow your mind, fallen to piece's and of course Epic. He is an amazing classical and Jazz singer as well. Enjoy Thank me later
At Solway Firth a man took a picture of a little girl in the grass and a "spaceman" appeared when he developed it. This song covers things not always being as they first appear. In the official music video they use video from the amazon series "The Boys" which is about super heroes who abuse their powers and are part of a national or global company being taken down by those they have wronged. The heroes are immediately painted as evil and manipulative outside of the media's portrayal(not as they seem)
I love you Metallica necklace. Slipknot and Metallica are touring together in Australia and NZ in October 2019. They are my favorite Metal bands 🤘🏾🤘🏾 Liked and Subbed
Solway Firth became famous because of a photo that a man took of his daughter. The photo shows a figure that looks like a man in a space suit and he claims the figure wasn't there when he took the photo. Look up Solway Firth spaceman. ;)
I think I made this comment previously. You both said you won't do these reactions with your eyes open. You should know after watching Spit it Out how important it is to actually watch.
Kel-n-Rich I have to say in my honest opinion this song has to be one of the darkest songs I've heard by slipknot especially after they lost the late Paul gray and shawn lost his daughter and what Corey went I can see why they he went into a more heavier direction at least on Corey's part but all in all love your guys reaction to this
i love all your reviews but you didnt review the best songs of slipknot , wait and bleed , duality , left behind , my plague id love to see you guys review them
I understand that you guys are doing this and in order to keep the reactions fresh you can't listen to new music unless it's right here. But here's the thing about metal, you gotta do the whole album! Heavy metal its all about the album, sure bands do the singles and put them out there but thats just to promote the record, you gotta listen to the whole thing front to back to really understand what it's all about
Agreed but we are doing what is reasonable. We will go back and listen to entire albums after we have reacted to the songs. If we were doing this full time and not working, then maybe. But for now, you get songs...sometimes 2 or 3 in one video. Best for now @Felipe Soares. We were able to do Dream Theater - Scenes from a Memory in it's entirety, but it got blocked and we had to chop it into pieces. That took another 5 hours. Can you see the issues? Yep. I thought so, LOL. Rich
Please please react to the song FROM CAN TO CANT from COREY TAYLOR this is a different side of Corey that you'll definetly love I promise you!!! His voice is incredible you will see and feel his emotions through his voice and lyrics. PLEASE PLEASE take 5 mins out of ur day and watch this amazing music video. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED I PROMISE YOU!!! YOULL LOVE IT!!! UR WELCOME!!!!😉👍

@Ariel Wainzinger yes exactly like they are amazing man
I have to say that I like listening to Kel's review because she is so down to earth and after listening to something so heavy and overwhelming with all the screaming she still manages to speak so calm and chill, it kind of eases me out and her voice is so calm and soft. Glad that you guys have developed respect for this amazing band.
The new album is outstanding
This whole album is both a return to form and a game changer for Slipknot and metal in general. You can react to ANY song off We Are Not Your Kind, you cannot go wrong.

You guys are such an amazing duo! So humble and Kel puts everything in words so beautifully👌🏻
I think I pulled a muscle in my neck from headbanging! \m/
I literally just told my husband I'm going to have whiplash after the concert next Friday. Looking forward to it. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I think I pulled a tear duct from crying. WTF is wrong with me?
Pls do "not long for this world" and "critical darling" by slipknot. Some new good ones. Your reactions are amazing.
Kel..your speach and the end was awesome..you nailed it..you both do
Finally a normal woman that doesn't say women can do more things at once.
Almost every song on this album is worth reacting to. Most are heavy but have some amazing melodic vocals mixed in. A few are slower emotional songs with great lyrics.
Pulse of the Maggots is one of my favourites.
Anything off Vol 3 is amazing.
Yessss
No
@@kevingodin5802 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Exactly!Vol.3 is such a good album yet so underrated.
White Chapel - When a demon defiles a witch

Kel did a great reading. And watching her reaction was great. Belissimo.
Ow and Jay Weinberg is a stunning drummer
I hope you have listened to the full album. Jay is doing incredible work from beginning to end.
@@BrianK_70 I have listened to most of the album's songs. And yes, Jay is incredible. He is also incredible on their tour.

I didnt like Jay at first, but he has since grown to fit in really well with slipknot. I believe he is a good fit now.
