Solway is easily my favorite on the album. Just so raw. It sounds like a unreleased track from IOWA almost. And the lyrics? That gets my Chefs kiss. Not to mention its how the album ends, such a strong statement to end the album on compared to other Slipknot final tracks.
All of the songs in the new album are great. Everytime i see people naming their favorite songs of the album, ITS ALWAYS DIFFERENT. I love it, looks like they hit the spot with this one, it appeals to EVERYONE.
The third single is "Birth of the Cruel" it was released next and it's more of the experimental song your thinking of, other than "Unsainted" it's the best song on the album
Solway Firth is also the name of a photo of a little girl where a "space man" showed up and the photographer swears he wasn't really there but showed up in the photo.
Oh man, the editing at the end had me laughing more than I should have 😂😂😂 My top picks would be Spiders, Orphan and... probably Critical Darling. Can’t wait to see the next vid, it’s a killer album. You can’t pick a bad song here

Like Death Because of Death is only a minute(ish) and leads into Nero Forte and What's Next is only a minute(ish) and leads *directly* into Spiders. Critical Darling has a minute to breathe at the end of the song which leads into Liar but that would be two full songs so you certainly don't have to do that, having time in between them prolly accomplishes that for you anyway. But in general the whole album reads as one cohesive piece really well, so an easier way to experience that, just listen to the interludes into the next song

Iowa dropped so fast after the debut album, they had Iowa on hold till they got fan crowd reaction from Ozzfest. Cause I think, surfacing, sic, and eeyore, were songs from Iowa. If you need help with lyrics genius is a great site for it. The song is about depression & practically the whole album is. A lovely return to the older more emotionally raw stuff of the first two albums they had.
You will enjoy the boys. No real spoilers. The only spoiler is there's a bunch of violence and blood and dismemberment. You only saw a basically one character of many.
