INDIAN BATSMEN - not masters of SPIN anymore? சுழல் பந்துவீச்சால் இந்திய வீரர்கள் திண்டாட்டம்

“LIONS AT HOME, LAMBS ABROAD”- is the term used to describe us Indians in Test cricket. India being the Land Of Spin, our wickets were traditionally spin-friendly and we had world-class spinners and batsmen who were adept at playing spin, so we had a very good Test record at home-though our batsmen struggled in bouncy pitches abroad.
However, recently we have suffered a shocking 3-0 defeat at the hands of New Zealand due to our batsmen’s inability to handle the KIWI spinners, hence begging the question we are deliberating ‪@todaywithmadhu‬ are our batsmen not masters of spin anymore? Is our obsession with IPL and T20 cricket the reason behind this. On the positive side our performance abroad has improved and we just thrashed Australia in the first TEST of the Border - Gavaskar trophy. Nevertheless Spin is traditionally our forte and that position should never be compromised.
