I have IrfanView, Notepad++ and VLC Media Player on my Computer or whenever I have a new PC.
Did not have ShareX as I only need the Screenshot feature that IrfanView also have.
I also have Simplenote which is a 'simple' notetaking software available for PC and Mobile. Very good, as it is just a simple app and sync my notes on both devices.

Very nice, thank you. I will check out Simplenote. I had not heard of it. Just goes to show that one never stops learning.

Doesn't anyone write programmess for windows now? What is the difference between programmes and apps?

Good question. Perhaps a more technical person can explain it. Personally, I use the terms rather interchangeably.

@@leanproductivity I have no idea myself. Once upon a time they were all programmes. I have no idea if it is merely marketing or there really is a difference.

Unless I am wrong but I remember that programs and applications were used interchangeably. Then when cell phones got complex enough, or smart, that users could add functionality by installing "mini' applications on their phones, the term apps became popular. App basically was a small application, for a phone, that usually was free or cost under 99 cents. Now all three get thrown around interchangeably.

Of course there are many other useful applications. Here is a follow-up video with some more: ruclips.net/video/y3dZpOYV2d4/видео.html
I tried quite a few. For now, these are my favorites. What are you using so far?
