I really appreciate this video! Because it's realistic! So many kids capsule wardrobes are all very aesthetic looking clothing items that are expensive or not practical for most kid's lives. I like seeing that your kids have pattern leggings/print tops from Target like most the population does. Very helpful!
Thank you ! Very informative I also make shorts out of pajama pants because they rip on their knees e even after 1 week of buying them ! So either they just wear them with wholes through the winter and in the summer I make them shorts :)
I had fun watching this, even though my daughters are 21 and 22 and out of the nest! I had to laugh when you talked about more expensive clothing wearing out at the same rate as fast fashion, as I had the same experience. Our items from Old Navy seemed to outlast everything, although the "action sandals" and zip-up sweaters from LL Bean and Lands End were also pretty durable. I think teaching your kids that a little stain or hole here and there is okay is a great lesson in sustainability. I am going to share this with my sisters who have younger kids.
Great topic even for me. I will share this video with my daughter-in-law. I have a little granddaughter, nearly 8 months old. As always, your tips as so helpful. Thank you ❤
Lol, I have the same style as your daughter. I love graphic tee and gym tights. I dont do jeans due to emdometios as i find it too painful. I do wear the occasional dress for after 5 in the summer. As im Australia, it's hot here 8 months of the year.
I bought some pink stretchy leggings for my daughter when she was about 5 years old. She still wears them as pyjama shorts when she visits us and she is 23 now.🙃 She says that she thinks it is important to make some "style mistakes" as a teen and therefore doesn't regret past choices. Whereas her 21 year old brother sometimes asks me how I could accept his choices as a kid when he sees old photos and why I did'nt stop him (yet he doesn't want me to take this too seriously).😉
Thank you for not parading your kids in a fashion show or exploiting them in order to get your message across.
Great tips!
Thank you, yes I’m trying to give them their privacy 😁😁
