This is the craziest built I have ever watched. I want to know how all his build surfaces look like this is the first time they have ever been used but the builder has clearly been building for decades to get to that skill level.
I am a old school rc scratch builder but I sure would live to have today's equipment technology. Maybe I could complete some of my dream projects completed in a shorter amount of time. Well done, looks beautiful.
To me, you are like John Britten, the famous guy from New Zealand that made the Britten V1000 motorcycle. You are a pure genius when it comes to materials combination. the idea of LW-PLA with glass fibre cloth and resin with Ply formers is truly a relaxation. I was expecting an electric power setup but then When I saw the Petrol powered 2 Stroke at the front was really something I wasn't expecting. I was dreaming to combine these materials in model aeroplanes and here they are, if you ever make models which do not require expensive machinery like a CNC cutter or whatever you used to make the landing gear parts for example and sell the plans I'm sure you can become famous for your methods of building. Now I am very curious about how you are going to make the wings.
Highly impressive!! Well done 👋👋Just love watching your high level of craftsmanship! Just can't wait for the next part! All the very best for the coming year!
Looking Good! just recently came across your channel because of the Scrappy build. I am liking the skeleton in the background, very much like the skeleton that featured in the real Scrappy build!😀 Greetings from 🇿🇦
Love the use of tools and techniques you employ... amazing. I'm just now getting into the hobby and use a 3D printer... What toot would you recommend next? CNC, Laser cutter, waterjet, etc? Thank you.
All CNC machines are good, but for hobby work, a CNC milling machine would be the most versatile. It can cut all materials. The laser bench is mainly suitable for cutting plywood and plexiglass.

@@markoroolaid I'm guessing putting the springs on the inside also gave a softer compression, rebound rate. As the original off road out springs look like they can carry some weight. Also scale appearance
I understand what you mean. At first, I thought that the springs were sticking out. But the real plane doesn't have these springs, the plan had to be changed. There was quite a bit of carving involved with these springs. The weight of the plane will be 8kg, so these springs have to withstand this load
why is it stoopid.? the landing gear mechanism is over-engineered and HEAVY.! the two pieces will make As Much drag as a single thick piece would.! a fairing should NOT be made using an asymmetrical profile. googletranslate
People ! this video is a must watch on MUTE kind of video... the noise of somebody atempting to do a scream and make it pass as a sound track is the most annoying on youtube history already ! MUTE MUTE MUTE !
Mike Patey is a legendary pilot and plane designer, the undercarriage is iconic on Scrappy and you’ve got it looking great! 👍😎
Thank you. The landing gear was also the most difficult part of this aircraft. Ouch, now it's done
Интересный размерчик 👍
Ждëмс... 😊
NIIIICE 👌
thanks

Thank you. Yes, this is not my first plane. More than 26 years of experience.
Это просто превосходно!
Awsome build im going to have to get my 3D printer busy.
Beautiful work buddy!
Wow
Amazing Work Marko another great video.
It meant a lot to me, Thanks a million!
Nice job looks great 👍👍🎉🎉🎉
Thank you very much

Wow, very beautiful words and they motivate me to make better and more complicated planes. Thank you very much, I try to level up all the time.
Awesome work my friend
thank you
Great work and a pleasure to watch. Happy New Year.
thank you

very good Work. So far so good😀👍
Thanks a lot. Thank you so much.
That is just Amazing Marko Love your builds videos.
thanks
Wow, cute quality control you have at the end😉🐱.Nice work
But of course, my biggest fan of airplanes
Thanks!
Thank you, thank you, thank you

i think ramy has met his match at last
hello great, aluminum is 6mm? Is it possible to use abs or another material? Thank you very much
I'm afraid there are no options other than aluminum. I thought about it for a long time myself, but no good ideas came. And yes, 6mm AL
hello can you put a link to buy the shock absorbers or suspension thank you very much

What are the shocks you used. Can you give a link to them please

But I built these shocks around. The springs are now inside the shocks
@@markoroolaid awesome. Very fast answer. Have a great new year, and Hello from little New Zealand

Fucking amazing work.. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍👍
It would be quite interesting, we'll see what the future brings :)
Thank you
@@markoroolaid I’d like to put an order in if they don’t..! These would sell like hotcakes…!
hello is the balsa wood 3mm? Can you link where you bought the wheels from? thank you so much
2mm balsa on wings and stabilizers. Wheels link www.lindinger.at/en/AIRPLANES/AIRCRAFT-ACCESSORIES/Wheels/AIRTOP-BALON-WHEELS-200MM-2PCS./15841
16:12 this is totally STOOPID !!!
Do you ever write positive comments too???
why is it stoopid.?
the landing gear mechanism is over-engineered and HEAVY.!

a fairing should NOT be made using an asymmetrical profile. googletranslate
This is a replica plane measuring 1/3, the landing gear is exactly the same as the real plane. Look @MikePatey Scrappy Airplane
Where's Lockite buddy? Want to lose a wheel after takeoff? And screw up such a cool model? ;)
I found you from the grab cad community! Amazing skills man! Tervitused Ameerika Ühendriikidest!
