Wow, so the first time I watched this video, I was just beginning to use Photoshop. But now that I am an intermediate user and can understand about 87% of what he is saying, I appreciate it even more. All the little tips Mr. Oprinca gives along the way are priceless. So, I imagine when I watch this again in a couple of years down the road, I will really get it. Thanks Mr. Oprinca!

I love this style of live experimentation. Some commentators complained about length, but as an intermediate to advanced user, I find it useful to see how you try different techniques to achieve similar effects, and then discard the ones that weren't successful.
Funny thing is... one of the most useful parts of the whole tutorial for me was the shift-drag layer clone to a second file tab! I always have to rt-click on the layer and duplicate... tedious!

I love how you make these professional and in-depth tutorials. They might not be good for beginners, but they are definitely the best for intermediate users. Keep up the good work. I hope you never take them down.

I was a little put off at how long the tutorial was, but after watching a few minutes I just have to say this was amazing!! Step by step process of something I've always wanted to learn. Thanks!

OMG one of the best tutorials I have ever seen. Super simple stuff used in the best possible ways and ending up with a spectacular result. The genius on how to keep the exact shadow alone blew my mind.

what matters in this tutorial is the technique he uses. that helps those who want to learn. good tutorial man. Nice tutorial

Simply fantastic tutorial. It's great to see the process you go through instead of instantly seeing the perfect steps to the final image. I think this type of tutorial is infinitely more helpful.

This is amazing. I don't know why people are complaining about the size, it doesn't look bad. People think too literally.
Love the effects. Thanks for the video.

  • @yoyoz333

levels and curves control the contrast. you can make the blacks blacker and the whites whiter, which will minimise the amount of mid tones or greys.with the burn tool, it is like literally getting a lighter and burning the page. the burn tool is used to create shadows. this tool only affects the area you brush over, and not the entire image like the curves tool.

the best tutorial i have come across. very thorough and descriptive..
only one mistake was the you ignoring the aspect ratio of the the model on that road. It seems like a two way inter state road where two huge trucks can cross each other easily. Now your model looks like a giant in comparison to that road since his image is filling everything from right to the left of both ends of the road.
nevertheless, awesome work and thumbs up
