Thanks for the video! Helped me out a lot. Just bought an 04 f7 and it didn't have a helmet plug on it. Wanted to hook one up but didn't want to splice into the headlight wires like a lot of other videos were saying to do. Found that auxiliary plug on my machine it's behind the speedo. Went to autozone and bought that extension adapter that you showed and spliced into that for a plug. Quick easy instal without having to cut into wires on the sled. Thanks again. Also should add I'm a fellow mainer lol

      Happy to hear that man👊
Alot of ppl dont realize that aux cords in there waiting. By far the best way to go imo cheap & effective no splices to give you issues down the rd👍👍.
Appreciate you checking out the channel & commenting man👊🙏

If my snowmobile has a battery, can I just connect to that?

You can but problem is it will always be live. I would tap into something that only has power when the machine is running. You should have some available power points somewhere. Try Googleing & see if someone shows where. If not tail light circuit works its a low power draw.

Anyone watching if the quality is no good click the 3 dots and then click quality & choose 480 or higher & the vids will be crystal clear. Idk why its like that.
