Beagle bonanza: Chicago shelter rescues 36 beagles from Virginia breeding and testing facility

It's a beagle bonanza on LaSalle Street as dozens of rescued beagles arrived Friday morning. The beagles were taken from a facility in Virginia, and there were so many of them, they are being spread out across the country for adoption. Tracy Elliot with The Anti-Cruelty Society joined Good Day Chicago to talk about it.

YES they are. I'm on my second beagle (rip Jack). I think alot of people are surprised, that they are so sweet and lovable. My Bella even likes rabbits. They are truly a wonderful pet.

Texas is dumping bus loads of border jumpers in Chicago bc Lightsout 💡 said we’re a “sanctuary city”. They’ll need food, shelter, medical, welfare, education...so expect a tax increase. Also, they’ll be taking entry level jobs and they’re willing to work harder... ☕️

Oh bless these babies, all animals should be free to live their lives with forever homes. Ban commercial breeding and ban animal testing it is wrong, evil.on all levels
