Nice job, however, when you slide it in, do some to and fro movements, with some turning so as to make sure the adhesive gets to every place. In general, does it pay to do all this?? The good quality bond costs not far away from an entire rod in this class, bought in an e-store. OK, you will not spend much of it, but it will eventually dry out... Except it is some souvenir, or has some other emotional value, the rod is not worth it.

thanks @VitoVitoski the rod I used is a solid blank that's why. its cheaper to fix it than to buy a new one in some extent your correct the rod had a value plus additional experience on DIYs.

I broke my boy Duckett triad 71 medium, heavy, flipping rod, I don’t fix my tip on it because I’ve done it three times and now it has fractured on my fourth guide from the top of the rod. How do I repair it? It’s over a year and three months old I should be able to get a new one, but if not, how can I fix it to where it has the backbone from the beginning

if you want to keep your rod then suggest to repair it but the down falll is that the play will never be the same again.
