El restarted Max’s heart. Like telepathic super strong compressions. Hence her still being brain dead. I don’t think it’s a new skill just her first opportunity to do it along with really wanting to help Max since she felt partially responsible.

I think El just restarted her heart so its not stopping death or resurrection. The massive trauma would have caused enough shock to stop her heart so it's like using a defibrillator to revive someone.
I felt the same way about El reviving Max, but after some thought, it makes sense. Henry told El when he killed everyone on the lab that he found that he could make his own rules, so he decided to kill his family and create a new world, right? Well, when Max died, and we got those flashbacks from season 3 where Max told El that she could make her own rules and El, as opposed to Henry, decided to save a life (and use her powers for good) restarting Max's heart with her telekinetic powers. It's almost poetic, haha.

Yeah remember in Season 1 when she squeezed the bully's bladder, she probably squeezed Max's heart to restart it.
Fun fact that was Millie's real reaction because she hadn't seen him yet until the scene when he walks up on her and she was legit crying she only knew who it was because of the smell of cigarettes on his breathe and also I love how they show that the power of love can save someone
It's funny you guys mentioned that stuff about Will at the end. Because I think about that too. Are they just going to have one of the most unhappiest kids on the show not get his happy ending? And why are they stretching out his storyline with Mike if it's not going to go anywhere? They already did the close friends but one of them has a crush on the other with Steve and Robin. And in the literal same season, Robin came out and let Steve down gently. So why are they stretching out Will and Mike's storyline over four seasons if it was just going to end in rejection? I personally wouldn't like if they just introduced some random guy to be his boyfriend. And the Duffers have already said they don't plan on adding new characters for S5. So Will is either going to be unhappy for literally the entire show or Mike is going to reciprocate his feelings in some way or fashion. Those are literally the only two options.

@@ButterMilkPancakes If you think about it, Will, El and Hopper have died already. Will in S1, El at the end of S1 and Hopper in S3. Are they gonna pull that out again in S5? Seems redundant.

She restarted max’s heart, she was brain dead, but got revived, El had to revive her because she was also afraid of losing max.
Vecna didn't manipulate time, he used his telekinesis to control the hands on the clock.
And Eleven just used her telekinesis to restart Max's heart. She didn't get the power to raise people from the dead.

Season 5 is going to be a Game of Thrones finale. Character death predictions:
1. Eleven sacrifices herself to save everyone.
2. Steve will sacrifice himself to save Johnathan for Nancy.
3. Will, with an unrequited love for Mike, will die to save him.
Toss-up:
Max dies due to her injuries.
Dustin dies saving Lucas or Steve.
Kali shows up and dies while helping Eleven kill Vecna.
Ted Wheeler dies tripping on a garden hose.
The Duffer Brothers said this was "The Empire Strikes Back"
This season felt like the Battle of Helms Deep so next season has to be the Battle of the Black Gate. I’m so stoked!

Is Mike really straight? Mike may not be gay but what if he's bi? Bisexual people existed, even in the 80's. I mean, I don't know, it's not impossible. This show is called "Stranger Things" after all, not "Normal Things", haha. Also, I feel like he has only said "I love you" to El in very high stakes situations and in a very performative way, and that's weird... The way he said it didn't convince me. Can he said "I love you" in a normal setting? We'll see in S5.

I feel like the only reason Mike said I love you in the first place was because will encouraged him- I also feel like the monologue wasn’t that sincere since he literally quoted some things that will said during the van scene and he also couldn’t really emphasise on the things he actually loves about eleven (rather than talk about her interests, he spoke about her superpowers, and it’s implied that el doesn’t like when Mike idolises her powers). I think since el could hear Mike talking, she probably heard will say “keep going, you’re the heart”, which is probably why Mike and el didn’t really interact much since then since she was probably frustrated.
Anyway I love el but she has to break up with Mike she deserves so much more- byler for the win 💗
I am gay, but I don't want shows to include gay characters just for the sake of representation without any meaningful context. Will's natural progression, from his early interests that raised Joyce's concerns in her conversations with Hopper in season one, to the confrontation with Mike about not liking girls, and his reaction to the flirtatious girl in class at the beginning of season 4, shows he's discovering his sexual identity. I would prefer that Mike remains straight, as it's important to have diverse characters, including straight ones, to reflect reality. Then there is Robin and her new love interest, Vickie, our newest character in the ensemble cast.
