i truly think that Kai cared for Josie in his own twisted way
I agree. He had so many chances to outright kill josie, but he instead gave her a strong chance of surviving while still finally getting the revenge he wanted.

This episode was so well made, def best ep of legacies. I totallyforgot how much I missed Kai, and he's interracions with Josie were great, i loved how they kept screwing each other since noone trusted the other. And the writters should just let Kai be the villain for the rest of the season since nobody like the necromancer anyway

I do kinda agree on Landon, unless they're going to use keep him around to introduce some of his Golem siblings to us in the future. I like Hope and Malivore feels like a refreshment after seeing TO shamelessly recycle the witch-villain thing.
I like Rafael as a character, but I don't think he fits the plotline as of now, which is probably why they introduced him to his dad and kept him off-screen as of late.
The other characters like MG and Kaleb have a good bromance, but I feel like they're not as great as it was in season 1.
Alyssa, I don't really like all that much, as aside from her bitchy personality,she also feels much like a spoilt brat; which isn't really compelling to me.
Wade and Pedro are heart warming characters, but I do feel like they shouldn't be used in battle scenes. Don't give me a team up like the Cupid episode again.
Lizzy and Josie have similar traits of Kai. Lizzy has that mental craziness while Josie has that dark side.
That's right. So what if Josie and Lizzy get into the traditional family twin- fight and the stronger one takes over all the power but also some characteristics of the other one? Then, whoever would win, would be just like Kai.
Josie has some hiden darknes from kai i think she also uses alot of Black magic i think she Will return to The dak path again and be The main vilain of next season
@@josefineseyfarth6236 no, it's really just josie. I don't think lizzie's mental health even remotely compares to kai's. Look at the twins individual reactions to absorbing the dark magic. Lizzie can't control how she feels. Josie on the other hand hides it well, but (on top of being a violent and manipulative person in general) she was revealed to have a limited emotional state to begin with.

This episode was so good. I'm so gald that Kai and Josie get to meet and get to know each other. Even they have a complicated love/hate relationship. You can tell they both care about each other!!!

@@leniismyname3069 he is , honestly though its kinda surreal for me that he died since he was one of the biggest enemy on TVD aside from klaus and lucian etc. The way he died wasmt like a big boom that should've happened with his character ( for me he was a powerful character so i was confused as to why he couldnt escape the chains while being stuck to a wood pillar ) but i can understand he's not the maim villain this time on legacies its malivore and the nekromancer.
Ojos Sapo Well I also think The Necromancer is a great villain, but I rather want him to team up with Hope against Malivore, because I don’t want him to leave the show. Kai‘s death already sucked, so no reason to kill another great character off.

I feel so sorry that we never got a redemption arc for Kai, because there was definitely space for it. We got Klaus' redemption (which i'm really happy about) and Kai had it arguably harder (if we consider that Klaus was raised in Viking times) and Klaus did things worse than Kai.

You can thank Julie Plec for the fact that it won’t ever happen. She screwed over Kat graham and got annoyed with Kat and Chris for trying to convince her to let bonkai happen in tvd. Kat sadly said she has no interest in coming back. Julie Plec sucks and ruined so many opportunities to make tvd, to, and legacies better. :(

See heretic crazy Lizzie i actually have a feeling out of all his family he can relate to Josie and Lizzie way more hence why he gave Josie chance to get out frankly I just want to see him and Lizzie react since technically both of them are mentally unstable and especially if Lizzie becomes a heretic Josie may be dark but Lizzie is unstable and unpredictable like him I actually think Kai likes this generation of his family they are just as dark and crazy as him and he can see it and I love his face when he realises he got screwed over
It's like I would like to see a heretic crazy Lizze but as she said to Sebastian she wouldn't be able to babe kids or grow old and she desires that most and I think she also has a Rebekah complex as well because Bex wanted the same exact thing and every guy she likes either died by Klaus or just didn't want her because of family drama. But once she got the cure she was probably able to live her dream. I do wonder though if she took the cure would all the vampires still die since she is human since its basically a link spell instead of a creator made you spell?. Anyways, I would love it but people have to think about that aspect of wanting a human mundane life, not everyone would 100 percent enjoy being a vampire becuase almost all their friends would die, they'd remain ageless unable to have certain moments of time to share, no kids and saying adopt doesn't really feel that void of not being able to have them. It does for most but not for all. Not having that...embro connection with a baby is much more complex but it still has that same anxiety wanting to meet them for so long? Still she wants that feeling and if she had a kid who knows how it would feel if her mom was killing people and drinking blood to live...idk
I hope Kai and Dark Josie have some more scenes.

They also have the ability to care for a certain person or group of people. People like joshua parker and klaus are also good examples of this. Kai didn't have a natural desire to kill. He just had a sadistic obsession with revenge against his family on top of his mental issues.
Josie didn't have the best upbringing, but she still enjoys her life. As a result, she may be mentally incapable of caring, but she wants to protect her reputation.
As for your earlier question, lizzie is bipolar, which means that she can't control her emotions.

I am absolutely in love with this video. You really nailed their love hate relationship with each other. As amazing as the episode was, their relationship wad one of the highlights. The whole thing with the other students was so amazing but stupid to me. Im actually on Alaric's side, which never happens. And I feel for Lizzie. But through all of it, Josie and Kai really grew on me. As much as he's hiding it, you can see he cares in his own twisted little way. He can see a bit of himself in Josie. I hope him and Lizzie get a chance to bond before he leaves the show again

I think that they are mentally the same, but josie is different because she just wants a normal life, and although she was a victim of childhood neglect (not as bad as he was), she is smarter in her methods of getting attention.
