I can't blame them for acting like this. Having a child can really change a person.
There's a lot of dangers and risks to romantic relationships, so they should be avoided. The concept of romance should be removed from this world.
Most parents hate the idea of their daughter dating and getting married someday and want them to be single for their whole life because of how dangerous romantic relationships are, while most of the time, they're ok with their daughter having platonic friends. That's because romantic relationships are far more dangerous than platonic relationships are.
Most parents (both fathers and mothers) who have daughters are hoping their daughter never dates or get married and remain single for their whole life because it's much safer to be single than it is to be in a romantic relationship.

I have a question. Do most fathers and brothers don't ever want their daughters/sisters to find love with a guy? No matter what, most fathers and brothers seem to hate it whenever their daughter/sister has a boyfriend (even if he is a good guy). There are even shirts made for daughters that say "I'M NOT ALLOWED TO EVER DATE" and shirts made for fathers that say "DADS AGAINST DAUGHTERS DATING".
I have also heard many fathers and brothers on the internet say that they hate the idea of their daughter/sister having a boyfriend someday, and are completely against it. So it seems to me that most fathers/brothers don't ever want their daughters/sisters to date and be in a romantic relationship with a guy. And so, it seems to me that they don't ever want their daughters/sisters to get married and have a husband someday.
I think it's because it's very common that in a relationship where there is domestic abuse is the man the abuser and woman is the victim

Maybe fathers are just worried the man their daughter choose would end up being a bad one. My dad always says be careful choosing your life partner

I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it.

That's why I dropped this anime when I was watching it during it's releasing time.
And it's just not that in the beginning they look like father and daughter but they were giving me some weird hints like it felt way to beyond father daughter relationship and the fact that latina not even once called Dale as papa or dad but instead she always call him by his name Dale.
Damn I remember I was so disgusted by this news that thank God I stopped watching it because it's seriously crazy!😬
