However that is but one achievement now 18 years ago - the onslaught of european cups won by man utd and liverpool outweigh that single achievement collectively

(1) What criteria are you using to decide "bigness?"
(2) What studies have you done to prove Man United and Liverpool objectively meet this "bigness" criteria better than Arsenal?

I'm an Arsenal fan and United definitely has the biggest reach. Most of what surrounded me in school growing up was Liverpool and United fans. Why be weird about it? Just love your club fam. I've seen Robbie say United is bigger before. Easy. The big club+underdog vibe that Arsenal has is part of the allure of being a Gunner. And part of the frustration 😅.

As an Arsenal fan, I just cannot fathom the level of delusion needed to argue us being a bigger club than United. It makes no fucking sense. They have more league titles and have won the UCL thrice. We haven’t won it once. Us having the most FA cups is nice and all but that’s nothing compared to the league and UCL.

The only reason Manchester United is so big and popular...sympathy! Since the plane crash, Manchester United has been heavily supported by the media as well as many football circles around the world! During Sir Alex's time, United finally became a top club that everyone wanted to see so desperately! Arsenal is and will always be one of the biggest boys in English football as well as Europe! We didn't become big through sympathy or by a particular group identifying themselves with the club like the scousers with Liverpool. We became big purely because we're Arsenal! Never went crazy in transfer markets like Chelsea or City or Madrid either. A brilliantly run club that has achieved success purely on the basis of the football we play! No other bullshit!
