Pretending To Be A Gambling Bot

- In Old School Runescape I changed my characters name to be similar to an RNG gambling bots name and put on the royal outfit to look like them.
I have to stand under the actual bot to see if anyone would trade me their gold instead because heaps of gold is being pocketed by these gambling bots so either way they would of given it to a bot anyway so I used all the gold I made in this video and put it all in a drop party in falador thanks for watching.

On one hand you're scamming people, but on the other hand they are probably dumb enough to just think the bot scammed them, so I'm conflicted on whether or not i side with you on this activity xD

@Anna333 Because by doing this they realize they can just as easily be scammed by the "bot" which is typically operated by an actual human, and will scam at certain thresholds. If he wasn't doing this, the morons would keep thinking they lost it fairly
By giving your money to a betting bot in an mmo and losing them you aren't excused of your actions and shouldn't be treated as a victim. The blame here is shared and all the players involved should be punished. If you buy a gun or intend to and the police catches the deal, you aren't going to walk away free while the dealer is in handcuffs, you'll both pay for the offence. Or if you excuse the people who bet then it's only right to excuse the betting bot or player as well.

This is against the rules for two reasons, firstly it's a scam and you are deceiving these players and staling their money, secondly, even if you did give rightfully pay anyone out, you would be operating a game of chance, both of which are bannable offences. Finally, what makes this any different from botting? The only manual thing you're doing is panning the camera and accepting trades, everything in the chat is automated, this may as well be a bot for all we know (or at least you spectating one), maybe it is and the fact that it changes the music makes it more difficult to detect.

i feel like you didn't even watch the video. In the video ALL this person does is dress up the same way as those gambling bots do. For example, they stand in the spot that the bots stand and switch worlds so they spawn under them. The bots name is RNG xxxx. So the person in this video bought a name change and made it RNG xxxx just with 4 different numbers. People will then trade the fake and give money thinking it's the real gambling bot. Its still scamming but they aren't being a bot or doing any botting things in this video. Watch the video next time lmao.
2 things. First of all, who really cares bro. Don't be so sensitive. You shouldn't trust these gambling bots in the first place with your gp. If players trade their gp to another account willingly, it is their fault what happens to the money. Secondly, you clearly didn't even watch the video because he is not using a chat script. He is standing underneath a bot, using a similar name. This is so people think he is the bot, and trades them money. Kinda funny tbh
@@jackw3508 You obviously cared enough to respond, I hope Jagex and the people losing their money would, and of course the person ending up with all this free cash would care for sure. Honestly don't know what was going on with my earlier comment tbh, looks like I was up late and thought that the scammer was writing the gambling bot's text at points or something? Nonetheless I stand by the sentiment: this person is scamming. The argument "if people fall victim to these scams then it's their fault, they deserve to lose their money" is the exact same argument psychopaths use to justify maleficence. You might think of this person as a Robin Hood of some sort, but in reality they're just another scam artist. Yes it's ironic that people breaking the rules to win money end up scammed, that's one of the reasons why they banned games of chance in the first place, but two wrongs don't make a right.
