Horrible sub titles though, There was quite a lot lost in translation. Nicole has got it absolutely right. Jock with anger issues, develops a crush for a freshman student, Marks his boundaries around her and does declare it in front of the sophomores.
I am from kerala and I love this guy's acting.I usually dont prefer to watch telugu movies because I am not that much interested in mass commercial movies. Its the best telugu movie I have ever seen.

This movie has got a lot of hype. See arjun reddy is a medical student with outstanding grades and marks. Only thing is he is very badass has all the bad habits and he is making clear in that speech that he likes that girl. And no one should ever dare to come near her. Normally people talk telugu with mixed english. But he says everything in telugu so that the teacher standing behind him could not understand anything.. as she does not know telugu. ... It's releasing on 25th of this month..

I think they understood the trailer quite well and guessed pretty accurately to what the story might be. In spite of the language and cultural limitations they really came close. So kudos to u guys.
You should definitely watch the teaser to get the pulse of the movie better. The guy is topper of the university in med school but has serious anger management issues. He falls for this girl who just joined the first year, then goes to other classes and marks his territory by basically warning other guys in the college to stay away from her. He also seems to be an addict, the teaser shows him do all kinds of drugs. I guess to understand what happens after and how he's trapped in this downward spiral we need to watch the movie.
The subtitles were really shitty so it's understandable why you were confused, but this movie has created a lot of hype in Tollywood. Especially amongst the younger generation.

Hey jaby if you miss this film then you gonna wait for another 10 to 15 years for a movie like this one, it is one of the best Indian cult cinema. It has reached $1.5 million mark only in US and heading towards $ 2 million. One of the boldest Indian movie it is facing many issues like sensor,bad language and many more here in India. The best adult movie without any skin shows any obscenity. Not even one Cleavage shot of any actress is shown, pure and raw movie. Fun part is that the original movie is 3 hr 40 min long but it is cut short into 3 hrs, but because of the movie craze in USA they are trying to release full length uncensored one. Hurry up for the movie.

Who ever came up with English subs to the trailer has not done a very good job. It doesn't fall in right context of dialogue and sometimes , drifts understanding of someone not knowing Telugu language. I pity #jabykoay for not enjoying this trailer due to the subs.

It might look strange to you guys...But most of the indians have little shy to speak to girls even in their undergrad. This film is a blockbuster just because director showed a deep serious love track b/w two medico's. And the way the characters portrayed as if they were having a conversation in the real life. More genuinety.

There are some movies which show everything in trailer and there are these kind of movies which have alot of depth and unfortunately the trailer could not cover much in this case. May be the crew released in such a way that they wanted to create suspense. But movie is definitely much better than trailer.
