I like that you used a 2+2. The extra length makes the additional width look more natural. Plus, the LWB E-Type is a better riding and more stable car at high speed in straight line. I have a S3 E roadster with stock engine and gearbox but upgraded with polybushings, oversized sway bar, and adjustable shocks. The car handles beautifully and the steering is incredibly precise.

This has to be one of the most beautiful builds I have ever seen. Lots of dedication and craftsmanship. I really appreciate it.

Agreed - an e-type exudes such a vibe and we love it.

Stunning to say the least. To have not only the vision of what you want, but the ability and resources to achieve it is astounding. Can you hear the admiration and envy in my words?

I'm an ultra purist e-type fan. I've owned three Series I examples. But I really like what you have done here. More like a Lister 'special' than a modification job. Has a Ferrari vibe (in a good way). Love the vents in the side. Great car.

Yes amazing work! I too though the side cut outs on the bonnet looked like an Italian design. The red didn't hurt either 😀

great unique personal build . I have done a 3000 hour concourse restore on my 1970 E-type series 2 2+2 Regency red ,Biscuit interior gets lots of praise. >BUT some days I think would have been nice to have made a restomod lightweight very personal styled E-type . Good job !

Makes me think an early 60s E Type and a 1959 Ferrari Testa Rosa had a child. The red paint helps the affect. Cool!

If I won powerball I'd ask for you to build me one of those. Art.

Many will call you a Philistine, but I understand exactly why you did this. It looks fabulous. Somebody did this to an Austin Healey 3000 and that looks fab too. It is like comparing a Spitfire Mk 5 with a Mk XIV.

Lovely job. It looks exactly as wide as the Touring Version of the E Type, also known as the Jaguar XJS. I've had the same XJS for the last 17 years. It was built in 1989.

I would like to see one with a shorter wheelbase (this is a series 2)....maybe 100" wb instead of 96" S1 and 108" S2. A front engine XJ13~ is an idea worth pursing also.

I always loved the lines of the e-type but always thought that the body always made the wheels look really skinny. I think this is how they should have looked from the factory.
