A few months ago I was in the deepest part of my life I got into a big fight with one of my best friends at the time and I lost her as a friend and nothing was going good then I prayed went to church listen to this band and turned my life to Jesus and now I’m living my best life with my family and other friends
In the year 1998 I came from Cuba I was 5 years old. My father bought a home a year later, across the street lived a young man 1 year younger than me. We instantly became best friends and were later brothers in the world, we went clubbing would win with woman would do drugs. In 2014 my life came crashing down when my father died suddenly of a heart attack. I got a dui. My best friend who was like a brother to me wasn’t there for me. I was depressed , would grieve everyday for my father that had passed away in an empty home. I kept driving got pulled over. When I went to court judge says your going to jail. I got handcuffed and all I remember was breaking down in front of the whole court. I asked god for 3 things I asked him to get me out of those chains, I asked that I wanted to meet him and know him, and I asked that I wanted to know his true. Judge lets me out the chains, I go home and a woman calls me she took me to eat for I was so hungry and to church my life changed forever she became my mother in the faith now. Anyways god removed that best friend that was like my brother from my life because he knew that it was not good for me and I couldn’t be around that anyways on the 6th of. September this year it is going to be his 3rd year dead, he was killed in a gun exchange. I remember going to his grave and I hear the voice from hell screaming for help and it was him and I could do nothing 😢….. breaks my heart he never meet jesus…..😢😢😢😢Let us give god the thanks for being truthful to his word and for being our father in heaven who protects us.
A little over a year ago my life was turned upside down, I was 130 lbs overweight and a newly single father. lost and not sure what I was going to do. I remember just praying to God and going to church for the first time in a long time. Something just told me everything will be fine and I started my youtube channel and just took it week by week. ive now lost over 110 lbs and im closer to God then ever before. in my tough times I just prayed for strength and I truly have made a TOTAL TRANSFORMATION! Just thought Id share my story :)
My son and I lost our whole family and this song helps keep us going in the path of righteousness, to rejoice and say hallelujah that we have a Lord & Saviour to fix our eyes on instead of focusing on the negative of our situation. Praise God for all the blessings we have now & in the future.
I feel like Christian music is like vegetables: They have good purpose, but are not always the most appealing. Though, if this song was a vegetable, it would be caramelized onions (and I LOVE me some caramelized onions, especially on a burger. Anyone else???) :P

2 years ago I lip synced this song at my church camp's talent show and won! I remember being really scared, I'd never done anything like it before, but before they played the song I took a deep breath and signaled the sound guys to play it. I didn't know all the lyrics 100% at the time but I did my best with some moves I'd barely practiced earlier. When the Bridge come on I dropped to my knees; I felt it was just me performing for God and not man and as the Bridge reached it's climax I slowly rose up and poured all my energy into the last of the song. All of my peers really got into it and acted like it was a concert with me touching their hands and reaching out to them. I believe God wanted to give me my moment of feeling like a rockstar after I'd dedicated that performance just for Him. That is my fondest memory, a point in my life where I broke out of my shell, surrendered to God, not afraid of looking stupid for Him and was greatly rewarded.

Great song. I like the perspective of "if I could go back I'd do this, this, and this" differently. But it's great to think that even though we may have done things wrong in the past being lead by fear or whatever it may have been, we can now live out our lives correctly and love like we're not scared etc. It's awesome to know there are a large number of other passionate believers out there that fight for the truth in their hearts and that God is leading them. It's the best thing possible.

Great song. I like the perspective of "if I could go back I'd do this, this, and this" differently. But it's great to think that even though we may have done things wrong in the past being lead by fear or whatever it may have been, we can now live out our lives correctly and love like we're not scared etc. It's awesome to know there are a large number of other passionate believers out there that fight for the truth in their hearts and that God is leading them. It's the best thing possible.

I agree to many other commitments, my girlfriend's father died of Stage IV kidney cancer November of 2014, and I used this song to make her feel better, I miss her dad too, but I miss her smile more. But God has a plan for us, I just pray that mine is to continue to support her
