Adil Memon was an 18-year-old contestant who auditioned for The X Factor singing John Mayer's "Waiting on the World to Change".[12] Memon comes from a musical family; his mother is an Irish violinist, his father is of Pakistani descent and plays the drums, and his sister is also a singer. At age of ten, Memon learnt to play the violin, saxophone and guitar. In 2008, he and his family moved from England to Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.[13][14] During high school, Memon attended Ipswich Grammar School.[14] In 2010, Memon and his sister, Maimuna, appeared on Australia's Got Talent. Before entering The X Factor, he worked at an ice cream shop and was a pool lifeguard. He was also a student at the University of Queensland and studied Exercise and Nutrition.[13][15] During the super bootcamp round, Memon suffered a nervous breakdown and lost his voice before he was called to perform in front of the judges.[16] He cites John Mayer, Emeli Sandé and Bon Iver as his musical influences.[12] Memon landed in the bottom two in week one with Samantha Jade after receiving the fewest public votes. He was eventually eliminated from the competition after Keating, Sebastian and Bassingthwaighte chose to save Jade.[17]
Memon released his debut single "Love I Can Afford" independently on 14 February 2013.[18] His second single "Official" was released on 16 August 2013, through independent label Social Family Records.[19] "Official" was written by Newton Faulkner.[20]

I said: 'No.' So he took his hands out of his ears and said: 'This is what I saw Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihiwasallam) do.'"
Reported by Abu Dawud in his Sunan, saying of it, "This hadith is munkar." It was also reported by Abu Bakr al-Khalaal through numerous paths of narration. Ahmad reported with a good chain of narration, and Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned it in his Majmoo'-ul-Fataawa (30/212). However, the hadith is not void of weakness. Refer to the Takhreej of Mishkaat-ul-Masaabeeh by Imam al-Albanee (no. 4811).
Ahmad ibn Hanbal was asked about this hadeeth, so he said: Sulayman bin Moosa reported it from Naafi' from Ibn 'Umar.
Imam Abu Muhammad Ibn Qudaamah Al-Maqdisee [Died 620 H] said:

This is a profound action from the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihiwasallam) indicating its forbiddance, due to his sealing off of his ears (from hearing it) and his turning away from that road.
One of these acts is not sufficient without the other. This was because he heard wind instruments being played."

I love his confidence. You can tell those snobby judges instantly made a pre judgment on him because of how he talks and how he mentioned he’s only been singing for a year and they wanted to make sure he knew that and make the crowed expect him to sound like complete shit and he didn’t let any of that phase him nor it did it look like he was bothered at all no matter how hard those judges tried to make that apparent and then he just fucking killed it and proved them all greatly wrong. Love Ash/Adil truly an inspiration.
