Christ, don't put them in a tiny freaking box. Especially four of them. If you picked them up, then buy a travel carrier. If they were shipped, then they should be in a MUCH larger box and shipped very very quickly. The waste in the bottom of the box indicates that, while not a ridiculously long time, it was still too damn long. Jesus, they're living beings. Treat them as such.
They was in this box, cuz I bought them at 1 p.m, and they were sleeping in it, so I didn't wan to wake them up. Then I drove 300 km, to my place and there was unboxing. They waren't shipped ;P
Please, I feel like the flash hurts their eyes just like us when we see a flash or a bright light :( I don't like seeing that, but other than tht their cute
I think they should have had a bigger box... but anyway... so cute! the only thing is do you tell them apart unless they are all different color types? th only way I can tell mine apart (both standard and from above) is the fact that my female is lighter, meaner, and has curly fur for some reason
To all the people in this comment section asking where she got them: If that is your first question about owning a sugar glider, think again. Do your research. They require a lot of care and attention. Find an exotic pet vet. Be sure you have the right environment for them to live in. If you do decide to get one after all that, good luck!

okay, this is absolutely horrible. First, the sugar gliders should not have been shipped in that wooden small box. second, I see you have a male and he is not neutered and it also looks like you have a second mail that is not neutered. I doubt they have lineage considering where you got them from. It is very unsafe to allow sugar gliders to breed without lineage as you can have mutilated and deformed Joeys. also, this cage is incredibly unsafe. That type of wire will Rust and give your sugar glider is a urinary tract infection. Also, would is not good because their feces and urine will soak into it and you won't be able to clean it and it will smell absolutely horrific. Also that is way too small for even two sugar gliders. Please consider upgrading your cage and getting your gliders neutered.
I have them as pets CatAleah is actually right you shouldn't keep to non neutered male in with a female male have th bald patch (eventing gland by the way) however they were not shipped they were picked up
@CatAleah - all these 'I know best for sugar gliders' heroes like you are just ridiculous. As for assuming they'll get a UTI, that's just weird, it's not your sexually active kid's environment, you need to differentiate the two. Face it, it's cruel they're in a cage and not a forest, but apart from that, it's pointless telling us what's crueler than another way of treating them. They're trapped animals out of their environment, so it really doesn't make much difference whether they're in a 2' cage, or a 6' cage, it all sux if you're a sugar glider.
@Paul Biechmann - If they're trapped anyway, why not give them the best quality of life possible? Keeping unneutered males with females IS dangerous because sugar gliders will breed whenever. That, of course, is not healthy in any way for the females to breed so often. If they really do not have lineage, their joeys can be deformed and possibly eaten by the mother. And yes, that type of wire can get rusty and cause UTI if ingested. They can ingest it if the rust gets on their fur and they are in the process of grooming, so it is not unrealistic to have UTI from rust as a concern. The wood is also very hard to clean properly and will promote bacteria growth and will smell terrible. CatAleah's concerns are all valid, so I don't see why you have to resort to the "they're trapped animals anyway, so nothing you do can make them happy." She's just trying to educate the owner (but the approach may seem harsh).
I got mine at a man from the winter fair. There is a website on the paper that tells where you can buy them. If you get them it comes with a cage, food bowl, water bottle, heated rock, heated lamp, and a pouch. There is a lot of work to be done with these little guys, trust me, I know from experience, I have 2 of them. Anyways, the heated rock is for if they get too cold, that can sleep on the rock and get warm. The heated lamp is more complicated, you need to keep the house at 25 degrees if you don't have a heated lamp, but, if you don't want to keep it at that temp, you can get the heated lamp that keeps the sugar gliders at the appropriate temp too keep healthy. They lamp produces no light, so that it is not harmful to their eyes, because they are nocturnal. The lamp needs to be 8 inches above the cage floor, and if you have a two story cage, like me, it needs to be on the top floor, 8 inches off the floor.
You obviously dont know what that word means... this is not exploitation. This is a fucking business who has the credentials and the means to ship an animal overnight PROPERLY.
I would love to get a sugar glider, but mom decided that we can't get one, main reason being we don't have a place besides the basement where it's dark-ish and the fact that if they get scared they pee wverywhere (we now have two dogs, a choc lab mix (mine) and a full terrior puppy (my cousin's as she is now living with us), along with my sister's cat). would have loved to have a sugar glider, though. maybe if we ever have to get rid of the dogs and cat we could get one but we'd have to be careful of the kids (the eldest are seven, the youngest is almost a year old).
LOL the wool looked like dead chopped-up gliders! Glad you bought them from what sounds like a breeder, and not a shopping mall Pocket Pets operation that trades in cruel breeding practices, but sad they're going to live their lives in a a way-too-small cage indoors all day and night. Face it: their natural home couldn't be more different. If you get sick of them (as most people eventually do), please don't just release them outside - have them humanely euthanized by a vet please.
So cute when they came out of their box, they looked in pretty good condition from the travel so far.
