to explain hanbin's name--korean names are surname first, given name second. his dad's surname is sung and his mom's surname is han (women do not take their husband's surname when they marry, but children do take their father's surname). in hanbin's name, the character for "han" comes from his mom's last name (he confirmed this), so the assumption is when he was born, his parents tried to combine their last names (similar concept to a double-barreled surname) and name him sunghan bin, but i guess at the time korean law wouldn't allow you to create a new surname like that, so they made the han part of his given name instead, making it sung hanbin. to be clear, i'm pretty sure that last part is still an assumption fans are making and he didn't confirm that he was ever supposed to be named just "bin", and he definitely refers to himself as hanbin, but he did confirm that the "han" is from his mom's surname. they also did the same with his sister's name, as well. her legal name is sung hanareum (this is confirmed, it's on her instagram and it's the name she competes under), but she just goes by areum. also fwiw while most korean names are one-character surnames and one- or two-character given names, there are some two-character surnames and three- (or more) character given names! but for the surnames, these are actual two-character clan names and not double-barreled names as we understand them.
The goal of the game in the first clip was to give the same answers (telepathy game, I believe it's called). Hao kept being the odd one out with his answers, so that's why they accused him of being a spy (cause the goal was also to beat the other half of the group who were playing the same game elsewhere, so what Gyuvin meant was that Hao was a spy for the other group sent to sabotage them).
you can pause if you want, not that you need my permission lmao i won't lie, sometimes i skip through reactor commentary if it seems unrelated/uninteresting, but i like all of your commentary. if you have something to say, i probably wanna hear it.
Bearded dragons are pretty chill😭😭 We have one in my school (I'm taking animal care) and he doesn't rlly do much tbh. They're not dangerous either :) You might be thinking of komodo dragons actually
The tweets and messages featured in the video are from fans (the one with the female voice as well) so it's the fans during fan-signs or lives asking them these questions. For example the fan asked Gunwook if he would introduce her to his brother and he said he'd think about it cause the brother doesn't have a girlfriend.
it happens but one or two kids is definitely more common. and then there's gyuvin who has three siblings! four kids is definitely unusual in korea these days. of course this was all very different even one generation ago.
I just wanna say for the record, I personally really like it when you pause the video to give commentary! I like hearing new thoughts
Same ! Other reactors I watch will sometimes miss something someone said and not rewind and it annoys me lmao

I love your reactions, and little comments, it's really nice ❤
2:50 I think three kids is well above the average amount of kids a family has in Korea 👀 the birth rate is declining
