I love these!! I experimented using ultra thick embossing powder and they came great! I stamped right on the cooled embossed surface with archival ink then heated the surface a little more. Once it cooled the ink had become permanent. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
@@CraftybyToni I forgot to mention the “happy accident” I discovered. I was painting the edge of one of the little tags when it cracked! I purposely cracked it further and then brushed over watered down vintage photo distress ink into the cracks. OMG!! 😳☺️

Tony you need embossing wand so you can do those tags and any small and delicate at one time. There is no need to buy stiff cardtock with a sticky top that can hold your piece from flying.

I didn't have the products you had but I found similar, and I was not disappointed, they are so grungy, super grungy and I loved them and am waiting for just a couple of products just so I have a little more control over the grunginess then it's back to it. they look awesome❤! i once made signs for a miniature-project with enamel paint, staz-on stamping and different brown acrylic paints on the edges and a bit glaze on top. they came out stunning real. thanks for sharing your version😊

I found that if you apply a small amount of glycerin to the rusted part and some of the white that you can get the bubbles that rusting enamel can have

Just a few afterthoughts… questions really…instead of edging with paint, do you think you could achieve the same effect with archival ink??? You’re using a heat tool, not an embossing gun, is there a reason for that??? Nice save with No. 3… you must have heard me yelling, “Glue it to something…”😜
Yes absolutely you could I only used the paint because it's thicker and I wanted the texture of rust but definitely could use archival ☺️ i definitely wasn't going to throw it away hahaha always happy accidents ♥️

Great idea. Do you only use baby wipes to clean your stamps or can you use disinfectant wipes?

How does the heat affect the other side of you emboss both sides so that they have the same colouring?
Because if you heat embossing powder long enough it'll melt again even if it's already set ☺️
