The best part of the video was the last 5 minutes. Ron opening the bar and the tour... Spectacular editing and camera work! Bravo! ...oh, and the cocktail was awesome...
Wow, I just said in your mug video comment section that my favorite place at Disneyland is the Enchanted Tiki "room". This man's bar is incredible! I can't stop staring at the swizzle stick holder and the shield and the lamp with the pointy things hanging off of it and the diver's helmet, it's all so beautiful. The outro, omg!
Wow, I saw pics in Smugglers Cove that got me into Tiki and amazed by them always thought how extremely fortunate those are to be an insider and get to attend the parties there.
Another winner, Spike and Co.! I’ve noticed that in all your videos I’ve watched, I have really enjoyed the music that you put in the ending vignettes. However, you don’t list the artist or song titles. I especially liked the music at the end of this particular episode; who recorded it? But overall a great episode with Ron. I’ll look forward to next week’s show.
What an amazing home bar! Living in the UK it’s so hard to get vintage Tiki art for our home bars but it gives us some inspiration!!! Tiki Tony would be a great guest.
I like when you visit other tiki bars. I also used to to go to TIKICENTRAL years ago, before we knew about rum, is it still around? I posted photos of some lamps I made under the name "The Velvet Tiki" . Am hoping to get back into that , Aloha.
It's interesting to me that so many Orange County folks in the Tiki Scene talk about Sams/Don The Beachcomber . It was a great place, but it wasn't half what the Royal Hawaiian was in Laguna Beach. Built in 1947, it was a Hawaiiana/Tiki fans dream world. This was a great episode, and Ron's place sounds amazing .
I just got this Enchanted Tiki Room poster for my beginner setup, and it's great.. my variation is a little different but I love all the ones I've seen. I also found this plastic parrot at an antique store for $5, kinda like the one behind Ron. I wish I could find more awesome tiki stuff around me but I'm still figuring it out. Good stuff, love the Rincon Room! 23:12 Oh snap, I love that "green" lamp on the right!
Thank you for this one in particular Spike!! The Rincon Room is my main inspiration for my little tiki bar, and Ron is just a great guy!! Amazing. And the Drifters Reef is so good!
Amazing bar and good vibes. I imagine ed Hamilton saying as a documentary commentator: just make sure it doesn't suck, while seeing this angostura pour😅
Wow, what an amazing bar! Bummer the Trade Winds bar is no longer around, sounds like it was a really cool and exotic place! Yes, we need one lamp tutorial to get everyone started on their own creations! 🗿
My husband says Ron is awesome. He totally relates with Ron. Laughs about the liability on the bridge. Says he thought the same thing about 2 seconds earlier.
Actually, I think you could find lots of stuff still at thrift markets there. I’m in south Illinois and doing great with finding stuff. It’s not all LA centered. Who needs a dose of Polynesia more than a midwesterner in the middle of deep winter. Some of the old school places were really popular back in the day.
This show is one of the best parts of Friday! Keep up the great work!
i was on the very very end of tikicentral, used to spend hours at work perusing the home tiki bar section 😂 miss that place. open 24 hours :/
I grew up in Allentown. Used to go to Pub Tiki in Philadelphia and fell in love with Tiki magic. Thanks for the great show.
This has become our fav cocktail!!!
Really amazing and just downright inspiring!. That outro is what (tiki) dreams are made of.
Still one of my favorite videos you’ve made! This one and the SpongeBob Directors house. Unreal!!
Don’t worry, yours is still my favorite! Haha
Hahaha... thanks!

amazing ep, love hearing about the old skool tiki revival days
What a great episode! A couple of solid Tiki characters right there!
Wow! The Rincon Room is amazing! Great show......again!
Wow, I saw pics in Smugglers Cove that got me into Tiki and amazed by them always thought how extremely fortunate those are to be an insider and get to attend the parties there.
The last couple of minutes of every show are amazing. The camera movement, lighting and mesmerizing music. Where do find such music?
Thank you so much! Epidemic Sound is where I source all of my music.
Such a fun conversation to listen to!
Great show. What was the outro music?
I loved it all Spike and Ron! The Rincon Room is truly incredible! Sorry Spike, but I think it's my new favorite!
I only “know of” Ron and the exquisite Rincon Room. He seems like such a great person. One of the most immersive home bars ever built!!🔥😱🙌
Another great show Spike! Whatever happened to the build videos of the Breezeway?
Love the rincon room!!
Super job on the filming/production of the tour at the end. Capped the episode perfectly.
Thank you so much!
Was fortunate enough to visit Ron's house on one of my trips to the US. The bar and his home are just beautiful. Amazing collection as well.

Another cool home tiki bar -- love it!
I just bought two amazing tiki mugs in Ventura at Aloha On Main yesterday. Also a really cool painting.

Need to do another show with Ron . Such great stories about Tiki . And the home bar is incredible
Wow. Amazing show and bar. Thanks.

Great episode. And what a fantastic bar! I think a summer drive up the coast is calling...

Ah Bahooka’s in Rosemead or San Gabriel somewhere I remember that Polynesian restaurant & bar. When I was a kid.
Loved the episode Spike! The Tiki nostalgia gets me excited. Caught up & ready for tonight's episode.
Incredible video -- one of the best on the channel! Especially loved the tour vignette styling at the end.

What an amazing place! Thanks for sharing with us Ron! 🍹
One of the best home bars! I’d kill to visit here someday. Great job as always, Spike

Great Show!!!!!
Terrific episode! Spike and Rongo, you did a great job!
So many tiki home bars, inspiring me to make my own.
Another great episode, man 👍👏🍹
Amazing bar and good vibes. I imagine ed Hamilton saying as a documentary commentator: just make sure it doesn't suck, while seeing this angostura pour😅
Great show as always. Please, next time could you do a tour of the inside of the house?
Wow! So cool 😎
Love all the cocktails you make, sadly they are hard to replicate in Australia as the different rums and syrups are impossible to source.
WOW! Great episode!

This was so great, thank you!

delightful!
38:16 cool!!!
Is there some kind of Tiki Bar club I can join?? My wife and I travel and would like to join up with other fun "Tiki" type people to bar hop.
That place is aMAZing.
That drinks looks dangerous
88 Great Friday nights! Thanks Spike!
Fun.
W O W
I need to have Spike level money…then all of Tiki would be mine
I hear Skipper rum is no more
In Ohio I will never have stuff like this .its very depressing ,very cool bar
